Das Hotel wirkt sehr alt und etwas heruntergekommen. Man fühlt sich wie in einem alten Jagdhotel. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Hauptschalter, das große Licht an der Decke ist schon defekt und im Badezimmer sollte dringend der Kalk von den letzten zwei Generationen entfernt werden. Man hört wenn der Zimmernachbar das Klopapier abrollt, alles ziemlich hellhörig. Es gab auch nur zwei Handtücher im Zimmer, keinen Bademantel um zum Hot Tub zu gelangen, sodass man „wie Gott einen schuf“ geht oder in weiser Voraussicht sein eigenes Handtuch dabei hat. Der Hot Tub ist von 17-22 Uhr geöffnet, es wird jedoch erst ab 17 Uhr Wasser eingefüllt. Man kann sich also viel Zeit lassen ihn aufzusuchen (ist auch direkt neben dem Kinderspielplatz in der Sonne). Beim Frühstück wurden wir überrascht, es gab eine große Auswahl mit Wurst, Käse, Kuchen, Keksen, Gemüse, Obst, Brot und Brötchen, Kaffee und Tee. Das Mobiliar sollte ebenfalls mal wieder erneuert werden.

The girl (I do not know her name) who was in charge of the place was wonderfull. She helped us during all our stay and the plus was she speaks spanish. Thank you so much !

Very old and out dated property. Water from shower and bath sink smelled bad. The only aspect that could revert the negative was Ira, the front desk attendant, who went above and beyond! Infrarred Sauna and lounge furniture around is disgusting. Property must be remodelled and be up to the standards of surrounding hotels.

We picked the hotel because it sad it has quiet rooms. We get room 005 and the room above us were draging around furniture or something late at night for about 2 hours. And whenever someone flushed the toilets it sounds like a big warerfall. So if you can, pick another room.

Súper friendly staff

Great hotel! Was right down the road from shops and dining. Beautiful view and adorable decor. Staff was super kind and helpful and breakfast had many options. The rooms did get quite stuffy/ warm and there were no fans/ air. We opened the window, which helped, however the nice weather outside (yay) made the inside quite warm. Overall, would stay again!

It’s okay hotel but looking at the price (Iceland is generally costly anyway), I would hesitate to stay here again as the bathroom wash basin sink was smelly; there was no restaurant in site for the dinner available; was told that the restaurant opens for the dinner only for a travel group and if there is none, then the restaurant is closed which makes inconvenient for the family as this hotel is away from the main city centre area; fine if you have your own car. Breakfast is okay but very limited hot breakfast.

Eclectic hotel with a hostel feel…breakfast was bountiful and delicious…family suite was spacious and funky. Parking was easy and very convenient to downtown and airport.

The room was clean but the bed and pillow were terrible. No pool as advertised. Hot tubs were not hot.

Fine rom. Flotte turstier i verdens nordligste botaniske hage. Interessant å se hva det er mulig å få til å vokse her. Lekeparker, gapahuk, forskjellige eventyrfigurer og cafe langs turveien. Herlig hottube med uteplass men lite vedlikholdt. Mye H2S-lukt av vannet. Masse ville kaniner rundt hotellet. Hyggelig betjening.

Fìnt herbergi og hreinlegt. Hins vegar vorum við að kafna úr hita þrátt fyrir galopna glugga. Það var svalt inná baðherberginu samt.

Nonostante prenotato e pagato con mesi di anticipo, non c'erano camere disponibili. Hanno messo dei materassi per terra nel locale della sauna e questa è stata la nostra sistemazione. Un locale seminterrato presumo senza abitabilità. Da denuncia.

We had a great stay in this family run hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and we also enjoyed a simple 3 course dinner which we enjoyed. We had a soak in the outdoor hot tub which was a bonus

The hotel and room seems older but we were fine with that . There was a strange smell like candles being burnt to cover a bad smell. Our issue is they put us in a room below the ground floor next to the hot tub . We did not sleep that night . It was noise from the minute we got to bed until we just got up had breakfast and checked out. There was footsteps and furniture dragging above us plus constant talking in the hallway outside our room . Also loud noises of water like a giant toilet being flushed . I think this may be related to the hot tub . The front desk clerk did not seem concerned or offer to rectify .

The people were so kind! The owner loves athletes! Pictures of Messi,Maradona, Lebron, Kobe etc
