Check in was easy and a room was ready for check-in time at 12:30pm which is a great early time to check in. The room generally was good, few negative points include no air conditioning at all which means the room stays hot throughout the night until the early hours when it cools down. The room had tiled flooring and a few tiles were completely loose where these could have been picked up. A fridge would have been appreciated to keep drinks cool. Apart from this, the room was well decorated with character, lovely small balcony, powerful shower, bathroom had water saving taps which is a great move for environmental reasons and the staff were very friendly providing suggested sights and places to eat for our short stay in Tarragona.

In a very good yet quiet location. Excellent staff. We were made to feel extremely welcome and the proprietor gave us a map of the city and explained where everything of Interest could be found. The rooms exceeded my expectations. The beds were comfortable with crisp linen and whilst it was quite basic accommodation, it had everything needed for a couple of nights. The bathroom was quite large and had a powerful shower. You may want to take your own toiletries though. Good WiFi. Downstairs is a kitchen/dining room for all guests to use. You can make yourself a drink or warm up food in the microwave oven or even make toast. There is a large fridge for everyone to use. Good vale, friendly and very clean accommodation. Highly recommend.

Välkomnandet var fantastiskt där vi fick en gedigen genomgång av staden och dess sevärdheter med all information man behöver. Kartan demonstrerades med stor inlevelse och med många bra tips. Hotellets läge är perfekt och upplägget med möjlighet till ett ”självhushåll” i de gemensamma ytorna gillade vi. Det var väldigt varmt under vårt besök och tyvärr hade vi ett rum utan AC, dock fanns fläktar. Besöker vi Tarragona igen kommer vi absolut att boka rum hos Pigal på nytt!

Ich finde das Konzept großartig!

Ontzettend leuk hotel, erg goede ligging tov het station en centrum. Kamers schoon, met ventilator, heel fijn. Ruime gemeenschappelijke ruimte met koelkast, koffie en thee, magnetron, prima! Heel leuke dame bij de receptie die erg behulpzaam en enthousiast is! Zou absoluut nog een keer hier verblijven.

Adoramos a estadia , ótima recepção, quarto aconchegante e limpo, ótima localização, recomendamos e voltaremos com certeza.

Al principio tenía dudas porque al ser un lugar turístico y el hotel barato, pensé que iba a estar demasiado básico o en malas condiciones. Pero al entrar me sorprendió primero la atención y luego la limpieza. Que bárbaros!!! En un 10 de 10!!!

Aranza de recepción es una excelente anfitriona, nos dio tips de paseos, comida, y fue muy amable, sin duda volveríamos a este hotel

This was a cost effective place for me to stay as I am traveling solo. The staff were very helpful and kind. Overall, I had a good experience here and would recommend it to a friend. Xavier was a legend.

The hotel is well-located for walking to the amazing cathedral as well as the marina.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful with giving directions and interesting information about the area (thank you Hector!). The hotel is not fancy, but as it is an older building it has charming characteristics and it also felt safe. I greatly appreciated being able to use the common meal area for light meal prep and having somewhere to sit and eat breakfast in the morning. The hotel is an easy short walk from the inter-city bus station and is also a short walk to Playa de Miracle and the Rambla Nova/heart of the city.
