We highly recommend our stay at Riad Anabel in Marrakech for multiple reasons. Its location is excellent. It is a very short walk from a major Plaza which taxis easily know and to which they can quickly bring one. Moreover it is just off a major Medina road that takes one to the central Square in about a 7 minute walk. Despite being equally located within the Medina, it is extremely quiet. 2nd, its staff is excellent. Fouad and his aunt, Habiba, proved very helpful in a # of ways, giving us advice, helping to direct our explorations of Marrakech in ways that pre-empted mistakes, expedited our daily plans, and made reservations for us at restaurants and museums. Moreover, they both are a delight to interact with, very willing to help in every regard. When we had 12 hours between our last day's required check-out and the very early-morning flight out of Morocco, they not only made us welcome in their roof-top terrace but provided an unasked for service of cookies and mint tea. In short, we were made to feel at home. The Riad itself is lovely; our room was large and ornate. The breakfasts were tasty, diverse and huge -- fruit cups, yogurt, many types of breads, pancakes, cakes, jams, and pots of both tea and coffee and a special mid-Eastern shashuka.

When we saw all of the 5-star reviews on Hotels.com we had to stay here. Riad Anabel and the wonderful staff did not disappoint!!! Fouad was amazingly helpful with coordinating many outings including riding Arabian horses on the beach (3 hours by private car--Essaouira--an amazing port town on the Atlantic Ocean), last minute rooftop dinner reservations at nearby posh Dar Dar restaurant-which deserves it own 5 star rating for food, fun, atmosphere, sunsets, and friendly staff). Riad Anabel has its own Hammam--(look it up and do it!!) and massage therapists. The breakfasts were amazing and we had a fantastic dinner there one evening--the tangine is sooo good. There are not enough superlatives for this stunning, authentic Riad. You will be charmed!

This was the best place we stayed during our trip to Morocco. Every aspect was truly special, from the beautifully decorated rooms with traditional Moroccan artwork to the warm, inviting ambiance of the hotel, which always smelled of fragrant local spices and fresh linens. If you are seeking an authentic Moroccan experience, Riad Anabel is the perfect choice, offering genuine hospitality and cultural charm. We were particularly impressed with the comfortable, meticulously made beds that ensured a restful sleep. Overall, we are extremely happy with our stay and will definitely return. The staff is very friendly, polite, helpful, courteous and professional. Foud and Habiba went out of their way to assist us with everything we needed. They arranged for us transportation to and from the airport with a reliable driver. We didn’t have to worry about anything suit our stay. Their breakfast was very good too. I highly recommend this Riad if you are visiting Marrakech.

Lovely suite and great rooftop dining terrace. Very attentive, friendly staff and no issues getting there or getting around. We would happily visit again.

Our 3rd stay at Riad Anabel, each time a different room and each time very unique, think we’ve found our favourite room now, Hence booking again for May 2026. The property is absolutely spotless and the rooms are incredibly comfortable, with the well balanced combination of traditional Moroccan style and modern requirements. The breakfasts are amazing, lots of pastries, cereals, pancakes, fruit yoghurt and a different Moroccan egg dish every day. Only a 5 to 10 minute stroll to the main square and the fabulous mayhem that is Marrakesh. Marrakech has become a real home from home for us, as we have been coming since 2018, and no better place to call home in a foreign country than Riad Anabel.

Riad Anabel was the best hotel experience I have ever had in my life. The property is beautiful, the staff is amazing and the amenities are incredible. From tea, to breakfast to the amazing recommendations everything was sublime. We even took a cooking class at the hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is in an amazing location yet feels quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. A truly perfect hotel. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Once I come back to Marrakech I will be returning.

The staff are amazing! Everything about the Riad was top notch. I recommend booking the airport transfer theough them as the vehicle can only take you most of the way. You will have to walk the rest of the way to the Riad. They have someone come and meet you and takes your bags for you. The breakfast was huge and amazing. Very clean. Room has air conditioning. Always there to help you woth any advice you need. Highly recommend.

The property is located in Marrakesh’s Medina, close to everything but quiet after a couple of turns. We traveled with two adults and two children. The room was what we expected; it can feel tight, but it was very peaceful, and the service was excellent. We had one of the best breakfasts during our trip, with various pastries, homemade Moroccan pancakes, yogurt, etc. I would go back to Riad Anabel if staying in the Medina.

Stayed with my two young kids and they loved it, even after returning they are still going on about it. The service is personal and the Riad is very special, highly recommend it. Brekky was fun with the bees coming to visit.

Amazing stay at Riad Annabel, the location is perfect for local bars and restaurant and a short 5 minute walk into Jemaa el-Fnaa and the Medina. The staff can’t be more helpful, organising trips to the dessert (where I proposed to my partner), restaurant bookings and recommendations while in their own Hammam having the full experience followed by a massage. Beautiful rooms, beautiful people and great experience. 👏

Stunning Riad. Most helpful, friendly, warm staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic location on a quiet street just off the main Souq area in Old Town. Breakfast each morning was delicious!!!

Cozy, quite and pretty

We had an amazing stay in Riad Anabel and the host was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The riad is in a great location close to sightseeing spots and restaurants, as well as markets. We stayed in the Olive room and it was absolutely stunning!! Highly recommended. :)

Perfect choice for vacation at Marrakech

Wunderschönes, gepflegtes und sauberes Riad, direkt in den Souks gelegen. Die Betreuung und der Service vor Ort ist hervorragend, alle Fragen werden beantwortet und Wünsche erfüllt. Unser Zimmer Olive in der ersten Etage war sehr schön eingerichtet und bequem für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind. Den Transfer vom und zum Flughafen haben wir auch direkt gebucht und es hat alles gut geklappt. Das Frühstück und auch das optional buchbare Abendessen war wunderbar. Beim Abendessen werden Wünsche berücksichtigt und es wird individuell und frisch gekocht. Die Sonnenterrasse war auch im Februar herrlich. Ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt.

Wow! Everything about Riad Anabel is Wow! Anabel and Fouad are amazingly welcoming and friendly hosts. Location can’t be beat. Close to souks but in a quiet location. We stayed in the large Rose Suite and it’s amazing. Dinner, breakfast were delicious. We splurged and did the Hammam and massages. Wow! Look no further. Experience Riad Ababel!
