Wonderful stay! Staff were very helpful! The onsen was lovely. They gave us a ride up to see the snow monkeys and it was a very pleasant walk back down through Shibu to get back to the hotel- highly recommend!

Mysigt traditionellt rum med fantastisk utsikt! Trevlig och mycket hjälpsam personal som körde oss till snow money park och till tågstationen. Den traditionella middagen var en upplevelse och det fanns ett bra onsen på hotellet.

１０星以上の満足です。先ず入館してフレンドリーなスタッフの皆さんのお陰で和み、部屋、夕飯、風呂、そして今朝の朝食も最高に素晴らしく親子で大満足です。おもだかさんにステイできて本当にラッキーでした。もし悩んでいたら是非おもだかさんへ。 スタッフの皆さん　大変お世話になりました。

Friendly staff

Super Lage, wenn man in die Berge möchte. Shuttle zum Bahnhof und Snow Monkey Park wurde angeboten - allgemein war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben mich auch bei der Planung unterstützt, man kann in der Umgebung super wandern oder auch Ski fahren / snowboarden. Sauna und drei verschiedene heiße Quellen vorhanden. Und das Abendessen war sagenhaft gut! Super traditionelle Japan Erfahrung.

接待や施設が特に上等という訳ではなく、連休中という繁盛記でもあったので、親戚迄頼んでスタッフを確保したようにも感じ、１,２名接客下手な方もおられた。 ただ、大半のスタッフからはそれなりに誠意をもってもてなししようという気持ちが十分に伝わった。 あとは、こちらものんびりさせていただいた。 それで十分でした。

大又舒服的房間，對外景色不錯

la chambre est magnifique et spacieuse. Nous étions 2 dans la chambre . On nous a prêté 2 peignoirs pour aller au onsen au 3ème étage. c'était très agréable. On a diné le soir au snack du bas qui propose des hamburgers délicieux. J'ai regretté de ne pas être restée 2 nuits et de pouvoir gouter la cuisine de l 'hôtel. Nous n'avions pas réservé à l'avance et c'était complet. parking à côté de l'hôtel gratuit. personnel très serviable et chaleureux

Staff and room were exceptional. Pillows were a bit hard but you can ask for softer ones. Main problem was lack of ammenities tho there's a drug store a 10 minute walk away from it to buy some.

Staff was very kind, even with the language barrier, were more than helpful. Rooms were well equipped with extra blankets and mattresses. The hotel bus drove us to the Monkey park and to the train station upon checkout. Onsen was very hot and clean. Would love to come back!

Great staff

I was later than their last check in and they accommodated me and even made a multi course traditional Japanese meal at 9pm, the food for breakfast and dinner was delicious. The onsen was extremely hot and had an absolutely gorgeous view. The older couple that runs it were incredibly kind and hospitable to me, including a shuttle to the Monkeg Park and Yamanaka Station free of charge. The WiFi was good enough for a Microsoft teams call with zero lag whatsoever. I had a wonderful stay here and if I am back in the area I will stay again.

The room shows some age but it’s comfortable. The public onsen is very good with an indoor pool and an outdoor one for both men’s and women’s spas. We have the half board option with our room. They serve our dinners in a private room. The food was great and staff were friendly. Breakfast was served buffet style and has a good variety of food. They also offer rides to Snow Monkey park and the train station. Would stay there again if I visit there again.

Rooms were clean, towels and japanese robes replaced each day. The onsens were clean, the outdoor one was usually empty, just for me. The gentleman at the reception was accommodating to us and gave us a few rides from the hotel to different locations (station, monkey park).

The hotel is nice with a decent traditional breakfast spread and beautiful onsen, but the actual hotel is outside the shibu onsen city so it is impossible to go into any of the 9 hot springs except 1. We had to find another room at a hotel nearby to get the key for the onsen.

一人旅でしたが心地よく対応頂けました。バイクは屋根付きの駐車場に案内してくれました♪

車で行ったが場所もわかりやすく全体的に古いが清潔感あり静かであった。あえて言うと、暑い日だったが到着時に、部屋の冷房スイッチが入れてなく、蒸し風呂状態。スタッフが「弱にしておきますね」と言ってスイッチ入れてくれたが、こちらは、汗だく情態であることを察してほしかった。

ホテルと言うよりは旅館と言った感じのたたずまい。 近くの川のせせらぎが聞こえるが、それ以外は静かでとても落ち着けるホテルでした。 徒歩で渋温泉街にも行けます。

Stayed 2 nights to rest and recover before going to Tokyo. The hotel was a short walk from the station with idyllic scenery with beautiful Sakura and mountains. The personelle were super nice and helpful. They provided a free bus ride to the snow monkey park. The room was spacious and comfy. The hotel dinner and breakfast were amazing. Highly recommend the dinner. The onsen was really hot which took some time getting used to but I think that’s part of the experience. Only real downside were the hard pillows which seem to be a theme in Japan. Overall really enjoyable stay and we highly recommend going here.
