Great location, basic but nice large room, staff excellent, steep stairs if you have trouble with mobility.noisy as trams out front and drunk people but to be expected and not an issue for us. I would stay again

There is no luggage storage.

This hotel doesn't have an elevator and we needed to use dangerous steps to go to the 2rd floor. Also, it doesn't have a space to keep our suitcases for a few hours. We had an awful experience.

Do not stay here – we had to check out early due to repeated fire alarms and unresolved issues. We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and ended up checking out early. During the night, we were woken up multiple times by fire alarms going off, which made it impossible to get proper sleep. The explanation we received was that it was triggered by steam from another guest’s shower. Regardless of the cause, repeated fire alarms during normal use clearly indicate that something is not functioning properly. In addition, the room had very poor water pressure and unstable shower temperature, and the overall standard did not match what was advertised. The room was also extremely noisy, with significant sound from both the street and neighboring rooms. We raised these issues with the hotel, but they confirmed that they could not resolve the problems and that no alternative rooms were available. Under these circumstances, we had no reasonable option but to check out early. What is most disappointing is that despite these issues, no refund was offered for the unused nights. This is not about minor inconveniences – this was a stay that was not delivered as expected, and the lack of resolution or accountability is concerning.

Lovely clean and comfortable. Should have brought extra European plugs and the toilet right behind a shaded glass door didn’t leave much privacy.

A hostel not a hotel! Stayed in room 11, a poky attic double up 4 flights of narrow stairs. Payed £170 through Hotel.com plus £16.29 tax. Exorbitant! The room was clean but poorly designed and soul-less. The beds were short - I’m 5’10 and bumped my head on the eave. The bedroom was cool (no heating), only two pillows available. The mirror in the bathroom is in the wrong place for shaving, the plug didn’t stop the water from draining and the shower pressure was very poor. One positive being on the 4th floor it was quiet. It have staying in far superior 2* hotels in Amsterdam. This one needs to be downgraded.

Room was ok. No elevator and stairs very steep. Daily cleaning was poor with just changing towels. Was in good location

Check-in e check-out foram muito fáceis, quarto limpo, ótima localização, tudo estava funcionando. Único ponto ruim é que ficamos no último andar e são 4 lances de escada, porém imagino que isso seja o normal das acomodações de Amsterdã.

Arrive early and told there was no luggage storage .. staff was busy arguing on The phone with someone as I was searching the internet for luggage storage nearby, they said they might be able to get me a room early .. after about 30 min I was given a room which helped out tremendously… other than lugging my bags up 4 flights of stairs

The rooms are situated above a diner. No reception office just a small table with a laptop and a chair in the corner of the diner, no storage for luggage, checking 2pm no sooner no chance. Rooms tiny bare minimum, no kettle,no fridge.No lift stairs narrow with narrow steps difficult to go up with big luggage. The only plus is its location near city center and train station.

Otima e bem localizada, unico ponto, é que nao tem elevador.

Qualité de l'hébergement très moyen, certaines des chambres que nous avions réservé (6 personnes en déplacement pour affaire) avaient quelques problèmes techniques (ex : lavabos bouchers). Surtout, l'établissement a appliqué une surtaxe de 24%, les raisons n'ont pas été clairement expliquées. Un mail leur a été adressé, aucune réponse de l'hôtel. La réception est restée très vague, en disant qu'ils ne pouvaient rien faire, que cette taxe n'était pas de leur responsabilité mais plutôt celui du pays. Le seul point positif : l'emplacement géographique. Merci à la Direction de bien vouloir répondre aux mails clients.

Excellent location near Dam Square. Above Bar/Restaurant but has its own Hotel entrance. I had solo room on the 4th floor which was every small. The main problem was 4 flights of steep stairs - no lift - no need to go go to the Gym if you stay here.
