Beautiful location with some incredible views and vistas. The rooms are comfortable but with hot weather outside the rooms do get quite warm and uncomfortable at night. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff super friendly. The front desk closes late morning to late afternoon which is a problem if your travel plans are delayed. The property is about a 10 minute bus ride or 20 minute walk from downtown which makes it nice a peaceful. The walk up is steep but not that bad (unless you have rolling luggage). Overall a wonderful experience!

Awesome experience staying at this hostel. The reception manager was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. He explained the amenities and the processes of the hostel very clearly. This place also provides guests with a Grindlewald Guest Card. Extremely professional staff, great food and awesome location.

Great place, Great price, Outstanding Views. Staff was wonderful.

It takes a few minutes to get there by bus from the train station, and it quits running around 500, but even if you have to walk up, its OK if you're traveling light...and know the direct path. If not, just ask. Nice folks everywhere, or follow GMaps.

Beautiful view of the mountains. Excellent breakfast. Great games room for rhe kids.

This property was great except when I tried to check out there was no clear spot to leave your key and I had to check out 30mins earlier than when reception opened. I asked a man that came out of reception where to put it and I was subsequently yelled at. He said “can’t you see, I’m in my pajamas”. Seeing that I wasn’t asking any big favor and how was I to know he wasn't working. He could’ve just told me where to leave it and continued. Other than that, this place was great.

Overall is very nice!

The area is too dark from the car park, entrance and exit from the second building. No shower in the ground area only on 1st and 2nd floor.

The front desk staff not very friendly, a bit rude but the hostel itself is very nice with a million dollar view.

성수기의 그린델왈트의 숙소를 구할 때 모두 너무 가격이 비싸서 가성비 좋은 유스 호스텔 더블룸을 이용했습니다 ! 식당이 매우 커서 예쁜 뷰 보면서 조식을 먹을 때 행복했어요! 객실 내에 드라이기가 없는 것은 단점이었지만 창밖으로 보이는 뷰가 너무 아름다워서 모든 것이 용서되었습니다. 다만 뚜벅이 여행자로서 올라가기가 굉장히 힘든 곳이라 버스를 반드시 타야 합니다. 스위스에서 밤늦게까지 놀 거리는 없지만 혹시라도 막차를 놓치면 매우 높은 오르막길을 오래오래 올라와야 하기 때문에 조금 늦게까지 일정이 있을 분들은 삼가하시는게 좋을 것 같습니다!

The hostel is not near to town but easily accessible by a bus (they'll give you a bus pass). The views are great though. Best to stock up food or have dinner in town before returning as the dinner (which you can purchase) isn't great.
