The check in was delayed and the front desk was lying to us. Booking over the app, check-in time 14:00h, the front desk said at 14:20h they need another half an hour to prepare the room. At 15:15h we came back, waiting in a bar. At 15:30h we finally could go into the room. The floor was wet and the beds were still dirty from previous guests. Safety box not ready. Ugly smell from Guests just checked out before. The housekeeping team did not change the covers of bed and pillows, we have found hairs and body fluids. The shower head in the bathtub was not working. The aircon, even on lowest setting: 16deg C, Full fan power, was not able to cool the room down. We had to leave the place at 23:00h because the room was just far too hot! At that hour, all the other rooms seemed to be booked, we gave up and were moving into a better hotel. Besides, the Margaritas from the bar were very strange in taste, we are experts ;-) No taste of any original Tequila. But in general, besides the front desk, the staff was very friendly and tried their best to overcome the troubles of a rundown, badly maintained place, with a clear lack of good management. The strategic position of the hotel is the perfect location in the heart of Sanur. Trust me, I am an old-timer in Tourism business with many years of experience. Regards.
