Nice place

We had some issues finding The Old Bones due to road closure and satnav not knowing about it. It would pay to check for directions. Once there though we found Karen and Grant very friendly and helpful. Our room was fine, nice and clean, there's a communal area for cooking, eating or relaxing on a couch too. Bathrooms are shared with the other guests but very clean and well maintained. It's a short walk to the beach too.

Only 200 metres to the beach in the country not to far from the city. Cooking facilities impressive and lounge. Clean and functional toilets and great showers

Beautiful location about 6 min drive from the town centre and opposite the beach with great views. Really well and thoughtfully laid out in terms of amenities (shared kitchen, sitting area, bathrooms). Would recommend for those seeking a quieter spot to recuperate.

This property is well located near the local town, and it has very good facilities.

Great hot tubs under the nite sky snd close to the beach and isolated just loved it all. Beds could be harder.

Well priced, very clean. Rooms are very small and water pressure low.

Although this was relatively cheap the room smelt musty. The bed & sheets were clean but the carpet didn’t look recently hoovered and the towels did not smell freshly laundered. The kitchen area was very handy but again it was not terribly clean. Close to the beach and amenities and the lady was very friendly and kind.

The owner Gloria was amazing. She helped us a lot with where we were going etc. it was great sharing the facilities with others and talking to other people including tourists. An older facility but well maintained and quiet by the beach. No

Close to the beach. Not far from Oamaru for supplies and restaurants. Clean comfortable and quiet.
