I loved that everything was close by

While the property is in a well-situated area (not in the main city centre, but close) & the man who met us to do check-in was kind & hospitable, there were a few things to mention for people who are considering staying here. First - the WIFI was absolutely terrible - I usually don't care about this but it was so bad that we had to go to a coffee shop to check into our flights when leaving. Yet, Maxim's sister hotel, Suite 135 had great wifi and was literally one floor below us in the same building. There was one day where the housekeeper did not come to our room - we left the room later that day (11am) but still shocked seeing as we stayed in another hotel in Barcelona and still got tidied/towels. There was no concierge ever at Maxim (not sure if its on the listing but the man who texted me the day before to do our check-in mentioned it) which if you are a solo traveller can feel eerie as we never saw anyone else in the B&B. If that doesn't bug you, then it's fine. Be sure you got somewhere to put the keys (purse or pockets) for the main door and your room as they are big. If your priority is a cheap place to stay and you don't care for that stuff, you'll be fine - just don't bring big luggages with you as Maxim is on the 7th floor & the elevator is very tight even with 2 people and 2 carry on luggages. I would not return here, but it is clean and in a decent area if thats your main priority. Expedia should send someone to review it and update the listing.

Great Staff and super location to get to all the sights Palermo has to offer. Easy access to the bus system and central station for trips such as to Cefalu or even Messina. Great places to eat all around. Will go there again and can highly recommend.

Excellent stay in well located apartment

Great location and close to the action in Palermo. 10 minutes walk to Politemea where you pick up the bus to the Airport. Hektor was an excellent host and very welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised about the kitchen and fridge in the studio.

A great location with incredibly friendly staff. The communication was great and they made sure they were prepared for our arrival and had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, ideal when you’re spending days walking around the city.

3 nuits à Palerme. Stationnement dans la rue mais cela a été assez difficile en raison du peu de places bleues. 1€/h, 10€ la journée. Immeuble consacré à l’hôtellerie. a Au 6eme étage, logement bien équipé même s’il manquait une étagère pour ranger la vaisselle. Canapé dans la grande pièce mais assez bas de gamme pour le confort. 2 écrans plats (vu les programmes de la télé italienne c’est 2 de trop). Grand lit confortable. Salle de bain correcte si on accepte d’avoir les wc collés au lavabo. Balcon mais avec un gros vis à vis qui oblige tout le monde à baisser les rideaux. Sinon hôtel très proche du centre historique et notamment du Teatro Massimo. Accueil sympathique en français. Ascenseur bien utile. Multiples options de restauration proches. Hôtel solide mais améliorable. Côté propreté RAS sauf un dégât des eaux laissant des traces au plafond. Une salle est disponible pour les personnes qui prendront le petit déjeuner.

This is a very nice property close to where we needed to go. The Front Desk is very attentive. We could have coffee in the breakfast nook. It is quiet and safe. Great value in Palermo! Stay here! The room is very clean, and we loved our terrace.

I felt in love with this b&b. Rooms are just beautiful, and it includes all you might need. Staff is very friendly and available for suggestions on activities and things to do in Palermo. Location is very convenient. I will definitely be back when I’ll be in Palermo again. Super recommended

Close to shopping and good restaurants. Plain rooms but nicely redone.

Excellent b & b. Staff friendly and professional. Good public transportation nearby. Close to many cultural and historic sites. We would gladly stay here on a return trip to Palermo.
