Hosts were incredibly friendly, warm and receptive. Their dogs (hypoallergic poodles) were the cutest to play with and well-behaved. The room itself (Library Room) is cozy and rustic with more than enough things we needed. Some items like toothpaste are lacking but I'm sure that if you ask the hosts, you'll be able to get one anyway. Overall, the experience was incredible and I would recommend this place to everyone! Just note that the location is rather detached from most places and it gets pretty dark at night, so it'll be best to rent out a car if you're staying!

We had the most amazing time at Coles Bay Vacation Retreat! They are the most lovely couple who care so much about their guests experience. We arrived in the wee hours of the morning on a late flight and they were so accommodating, meeting us on the driveway to give us a tour of our place. They were also up in the morning preparing the most delicious breakfast of our choosing from a wonderful selection of menu items. They even catered to my gluten free needs! It was a quiet comfortable stay and was only a 6 minute drive from the airport!

Absolutely wonderful in every way! The delightful hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

Very nice greeting and introductio shared upon arrival. DELICIOUS breakfast as selected delivered to suite a time I selected. Comphy bed and living area. Great overnight experiance near air port, ferries and Buchart. Regards Tony

Very hospitable owner. Went our of her way to make us feel comfortable. We had to leave early and would have had to miss the breakfast, but she made us up an excellent "meal in a bag" to take with us. Great place!!

Friendly and helpful proprietors. The room had everything we needed and more than was expected. Customized breakfast orders were taken and delivered to the room at the scheduled time. Breakfast food was generous, fresh and tasty.

The room was almost as fantastic as the hosts! Had such a brief but lovely stay here and would definitely come back. They make you feel right at home, the room is comfortable, clean, and has everything you'd need for an overnight trip. Highly recommend!

The hosts were very accommodating to our late arrival. They also provided an excellent breakfast in our room the next morning - my wife had a delicious omelette and I had the “Dutch Baby”, so good! We stayed in the Library Room, very comfy and cosy. Close to Victoria Airport. I highly recommend a night or romantic weekend here.

The room was very comfy and our host was positively a hoot 😀 Our reason for staying was to fly out very early and she prepared a snck the night before so we would have something at 3:30 am before leaving.
