A little care to small details will go a long way. Address small irritations. Overall positive.

The property is very nicely maintained. Pool is small but clean. I stayed at the Classic room which was in the original house. Room was big but unfortunately very dark. Windows don't open. Otherwise, the room has everything. Good tea bags. The food at the hotel was good but they charge a lot of money for tax and service fee. That could be avoided. Food was tasty. Breakfast was simple but same thing every day. I recommend a variety and more Sri Lankan choices since this is a heritage hotel. The hotel is a little too pricey for Jaffna standards since it is of 3 star quality. It is also a little too far from town and train station. Otherwise, it is very comfortable and safe for ladies traveling alone.

Super nice hotel full of charm and memories to earlier times. Very professional staff and amazing service. Restaurant is very nice to enjoy drinks / dinner.

The breakfast buffet wasn't good at all, very limited options and nothing really to look forward to. But the staff, the hotel was fabulous! - special kudos to Scotty who went above and beyond to organise some food for us...

Hadde et helt fantastisk opphold på Fox Jaffna. En idyllisk oase i kort avstand fra Jaffna sentrum. Føles ut som et filmsett med tradisjonell dravidisk arkitektur og moderne lukseriøse fasiliteter. Det perfekte hotellet for noen som vil oppleve både kultur og avslappende luksus. Alle ansatte var svært hyggelige, og hadde nær tilknytting til nærområdet hotellet lå i, noe som la grobunn for hyggelige samtaler om stedet og tips til plasser å utforske. Rommet var kjempefint, også badet var fint, men preges noe av den slitasje som fremkommer av hardt vann i tropiske strøk. God frokostbuffet med forskjellig innhold hver dag, men fokus på det de kan bedre enn alle andre: tamilsk mat. Også middagsmaten var nydelig. Opplevde heller ingen mageproblemer eller lignende som kan skje uvante turister. Eneste jeg angrer på var å ikke bruke mer tid på hotellet for å nyte fasilitetene. Jeg er veldig glad jeg valgte dette hotellet over de mer sjelløse luksushotellene i Jaffna.

We visited after 40 years to Srilanka. We are glad that we stayed at fox resort Jaffna. Beautiful property in Jaffna. We truly appreciate all the staff. Well maintained property with clean pool. Food was delicious, Amit kumar, Scootie and sugith was very helpful. We felt like we were at our own house in Jaffna. Thank you to all of you.

Booking was easier and Laksika from front desk was very welcoming and supportive. Stayed in two different type rooms, one in villa and other in main building. Supplies , cleanliness and service was great. Restaurant was more welcoming and and warm. Food choices were not extensive but adequate to the size of resort. Scotty, Diroian, Amithap were very friendly and quick to be in service, cheers to them.

It was an amazing experience, staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and a good variety available each day. Dirojan - one of the waiters was very good and full of knowledge of the cuisine available. The rooms were clean and spacious in the main house where we stayed. It felt like we were staying at a friends house.

The Fox Jaffna resort was fantastic! My uncle and I (from Australia) stayed for two nights in April and were extremely pleased with both the hotel and the dining services. The Manager, Mr Trevine, and his supervisor, Mr Amit, offered very courteous and outstanding service. Jaffna is improving as a tourist attraction, but it still needs more attention. The roads are in excellent shape, and it is worthwhile to take a drive to the north. Cheers

I stayed here for two days and it was worth the stay. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Hotels staff were very helpful and attentive. The best part was the morning breakfast with quite a variety of delicious food. Overall, it’s a good recommended place to stay.

This is not a 4-star hotel. Had dirty sheets. bathroom not cleaned
