Good area, staff was amazing.

Very comfortable room with view of the public library. Quiet even though overlooking the front street. Reception and valet were very helpful. Great location for walking around the city. Would stay again.

Location was great, very clean and staff was excellent. Didn't eat there but had drinks at the bar, pricey but enjoyable.

Stay was great but the restaurant was completely disappointing. Also, the listing showed a pool that they didnt have.

Staff were excellent. Location was perfect for touring the city. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Feather pillows constantly poked us. They need an upgrade. We did not like our windows opening to an inner atrium and having no outer windows. We were in a jr suite and air conditioning never got as cool as I would like in the bedroom. I also did not like the request to tip the staff in the elevator and with the room card. I perceive that the hotel is not paying their staff enough, and after paying a hefty rate for a room, they think I should also subsidize the employees wages by way of a tip, instead of the Metcalfe paying good wages to their excellent staff from the income they make on the room rates I paid.

The hotel overall fulfilled all my expectations. Check in was fast and effient. The room was spotlesly clean and house keeping was efficient and not intrusive. The doorman noted me stumbling, came out and escorted me to my room. I did not sample the food enough to comment on it

The team was incredibly kind and left special surprises for my friend for her birthday which was very appreciated. We had an issue with plumbing in our first room which was efficiently dealt with and we were moved rooms without a fuss. Beautiful setting, convenient to walk around downtown. Breakfast at cocotte was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing boutique hotel close to everything in downtown Ottawa.

Place is great and perfect for meetings in Ottawa with La cocotte restaurant being one of the highlight as well. I would stay away from rooms at lower level facing the internal courtyard- too noisy at night. I requested a room change at 22:00 upon check-in which was done very kindly and swiftly. Overall a good option in Ottawa.

Nice hotel

This property is casual chic. Informal. Expensive for what is on offer though. Air conditioning did not work the first night of my 3 night stay. It was remedied after phone calls the next day. The bathroom amenities were good and the King bed linens and pillows were pleasant. Fairly quiet although my room faced the street. Restaurant Cocotte device was slow but food was fine.

Great stay, good price.

The hotel is beautiful and overall very clean. I did however notice a glass in my room that had a dirty ring that was stained onto the glass and only other issue was the terrible wifi and connectivity within the building and in my room. I could not even have a simple page load with wifi or using my phones hotspot.

Le chauffage etait déficient dans les chambres, des heures pour obtenir le degré désiré, aucun chauffage dans la salle de bain, très très froid, la douche n’a pas de barres de sécurité et le plancher n’est pas suffisamment antidérapant.
