Where shall I start?! They were not expecting us, could not find the booking, we were then shown to a filthy room (someone's dirty soap and wrappers in the bathroom and matchsticks and peanuts on the bedroom floor). We rejected that and were given one which was slightly better. We asked for a meal in the 'restaurant' and were served a pretty poor rice and curry which it turned out had come from the local takeaway shack. The wifi was non existant and we were given so many excuses we asked to meet the manager/owner the next day.
He told us that he did not want to be listed by Hotels.com and had asked for his 'hotel' to be removed. He also promised that the broken handle on our room would be repaired, but that did not happen either....
Add to all this the incessant fighting & barking of dogs belonging to people living in the basement & I'm sure you will understand why we couldn't wait to leave.
