Een mooie locatie in een historisch pand. Maar kamers zijn modern en comfortabel ingericht. Ruime kamer, voldoende ruimte voor bagage. Nette schone badkamer. Heerlijk a la carte ontbijt. Diner was ook heerlijk. Geen doorsnee pubfood, maar een mooie menukaart. Gezellig dorpsterras buiten. Kamer heeft geen airco, als het erg warm is kan dit een punt van aandacht zijn.

Das gesamte Team von Mason Arms war extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat praktisch jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Das Essen (Frühstück & Abendessen) war sehr lecker. Wir würden es eindeutig weiter empfehlen. Falls man eine Kleinigkeit kritisieren möchte, wäre es, dass man bei der Buchung auf die Größe der Zimmer achten sollte. In unserem Zimmer hatten 2 Medium große Koffer gerade so Platz aufgeklappt zu liegen und das Zimmer war praktisch mit dem Doppelbett und einem kleinen Sessel voll.

Charming place, clean spacious rooms done up with great taste. Bathroom a little small, but all very clean and practical. Amazing breakfast cooked to order and served by friendly people. The place is well run and it is very comfortable. The village itself has little to offer, but it is a great spot from which to explor the Costwolds. We had a double room (2 adults 2 kids) which was really nice.

My son and I had the pleasure of staying there for a single evening mid-May. It had been a long day, and we were ready for exactly what they offered: a quaint, cozy, historic place to feast and lay our heads for the night. As we came in, we were greeted by the mother and daughter duo (sorry, I can't recall their names). The mother showed us to an upgraded dual room meant for a family. As it is my adult son I was traveling with, I really wanted my own bed. What I got was a bed and adorable bathroom. He got the same. Our own bathrooms? Amazing. The whole place was clean and well-appointed. We reserved a table for dinner, and after settling in, made our way downstairs to their lovely dining and pub area. The marks of history were everywhere. We were shown to our table where the daughter of the duo served us. I honestly can't recall what we ate; I think my son may have had steak. We had dessert also. Soooooo good. The whole trip is a bit of a blur, but my son and I loved the food, and the hospitality was fabulous! The ladies were kind, helpful and provided outstanding service. Our only regret: we were unable to try the pie. It smelled delicious, but they were sold out by the time we got to the restaurant. We have discussed numerous times what a good find Masons Arms was for us. If ever in the area again, I would most definitely want to stay there.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for me. I felt very welcome there. The bar sold some great local beers and the dinner and breakfast choices were great. Looking forward to staying there again.

A stay built around our dogs proved to be perfect. Great friendly atmosphere and top quality produce in the meals and breakfasts. Very thoughtfully provided an information sheet of village walks for the dogs also spare bowls , towels and treats. The evening meal menu was very appealing and the dog menus were a lovely touch. The room was a decent size with all conveniences and a very fluffy bed. Definitely recommended for travels with your favourite furry friends so that’s 5 stars from us.

Great place to stay for exploring the Cotswolds. Very friendly team, made us very welcome and the food was excellent.

Staff were great, dinner and breakfast were delicious. Bed was very comfortable. One negative was the tiny bathroom.

Great room and comfy bed. Very well positioned property to visit all that The Cotswolds has to offer. Excellent breakfast with lots of options cooked to order. We enjoyed two excellent dinners as well and recommend booking during busy periods. Lovely beer garden area and excellent staff. A perfect stay and highly recommend. Thanks!

Had a fantastic stay over the Easter weekend at The Masons Arms and will definitely be back! The staff were super friendly, food delicious, and beds very comfy. The hotel is super pet friendly and lots of nice touches like dog bowls provided and a Dog Treats menu at the bar. Location is great for exploring The Cotswolds and free parking right outside the pub. Will be recommending this place to friends and family for sure!

Carpets are terrible, they need to get rid off them asap. Fantastic breakfast

From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out with a candle and staff and guests singing happy birthday ! We had our final breakfast before setting off home, and a quick chat with the morning staff, will definitely be returning again. We never had an issue with parking as if you couldn’t park outside the pub there were places to park down the side road nearby. The pub is very pet friendly and it was lovely to see all the little doggies come in with their owners, to be greeted with a treat from the sweetie jar. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay perfect you, you really do a great job.!!

Amazing room and stay. Washroom was a bit small though, it was hard to use the loo if you’re a man and standing up. Otherwise breakfast was amazing!

The room was small but spotless! The breakfast however was disgusting! Waited more than 1/2 hr ! Bacon was like cardboard ! Sausage tasted awful , one bite and should have spat it out but swollowed . Poached eggs 1 ok 1 hard! Enormous amount of muchrooms. Butter for toast when opened was liquid !! Definitely would not recommend! - refund would be appreciated. Felt sick all morning. Husbands wasn’t any better - he had the full English.
