Great room, great breakfast, great service!

We had a lovely stay with Heather and Craig. Room 1 was ground floor, quite roomy and very comfortable. We enjoyed our evening meal which after dining out for a couple of weeks during our trip it felt like a perfect home cooked meal. We liked the options for breakfast and once again enjoyed our selections.

This was perfect for what we were looking for. Hosts were incredible.

Very limited options in this part of Scotland so I didn't have any great expectations prior to arriving, but was pleasantly surprised. Yes it is a bit tired looking in places, but looking past that, and far more important, it is welcoming, clean, comfortable and serves very good food. Everything you could want after a long day travelling or walking. The hosts are very dedicated and great to chat with. I would have happily stayed longer and would have no issues with staying there again should I be in the area.

Einsam gelegen, daher super, dass es im Haus eine Gaststube mit gutem Essen gibt und gleich einen Pub dazu. Sauber, sehr freundliche Gastgeber, urig. Zimmer war groß und bequem. Sehr ruhige Lage! Tolles schottisches Frühstück. Absolut zu empfehlen für einen Trip.

Excellent accommodation run by a charming couple.

In desperate need of update.

Very welcoming and kind. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom, big and clean. The bar/restaurant served excellent food and drinks. Delicious! A little out of Thurso but worth the drive.

We stayed here as part of our journey from Land's End to John o'Groats. Lovely welcome from the owner with use of a locked workshop for our bikes. Great to have a tasty evening meal there too.

Small country inn with friendly hosts. Rooms were clean amd comfortable. Breakdast was delicious. Ate in the bar on the evening amd the Venison casserole was famtastoc, especially followed by the fudge amd whosky cheesecake. All the food was freshly made by Craig amd Heather. Extensive range of local whiskies that are worth a look at.

Excellent service cans home cooked food. Great selection of beers and whiskies
