We booked the Alcyone for a friends party being held at Eagle farm racecourse and Alcyone location was within close proximity. Couldn’t fault anything, rooms clean and comfortable, easy checkin and communication. Would highly recommend and stay again if the opportunity arises.

The rooms are spacious. The bed is comfortable and everything is very clean. There are a lot of food options within walking distance of this accommodation.

Very convenient to airport. Clean with handy parking and comfy beds.

Great location all around. It’s a short walk to Eat Street for some fun informal food choices. Formal dining options, a grocery market, bakery & chemist shops are located along the promenade just outside the hotel. The city ferry is located a short distance along the dock which provides easy access to other locations along the river. The room we stayed is was well appointed and comfortable. The only negative comment is that the carpets are starting to look their age, not a big distraction ….but noticeable. All & all a good stay & I would recommend the Alcyone to friends.
