My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up.

A great bar with well kept beers (huge choice) and a great menu - the steak was perfect. Breakfast was really good, all freshly prepared to order (ordered the night before so ready when I arrived) Very friendly welcome and service, personable without being overfamiliar or nosey - good skill to have. Comfortable and clean room, slept very well.

Lovely pub/accomodation in the great community of Usk. The New Court was good value for money and the staff friendly and helpfull. The bed was comfortable, however the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. All in all it was a good stay.

Really comfy bed, great bar meal and breakfast, friendly welcoming staff. Decor a bit worn around the edges. No problem with Internet connection. Easy parking on street directly outside. Good real ale choice at the bar.

The staff, bar and meals were really good and we enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are small (which is to be expected in buildings of this age) so be aware. We didn’t read the check-in details so be aware that 5.30pm in the earliest you can do this.

Great location. Room was very compact. No room to swing a cat in the shower. Strange layout to bathroom, shower built on 3 half steps, could be a huge fall risk. Annoying green light from emergency lighting shining in the room all night. Breakfast was delightful, however i would prefer my toast to be served the same time as the eggs, not the same time as the cereal. Toast and crossiant cold by the time i came to eat them.

A warm welcome from all the staff. All the food was beautifully cooked. Lots of eco friendly touches.

Stayed a couple of times now. Food is great and good choice of drinks at the bar. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Also fresh milk given for your room and not in packets or individuals.

Great overnight stop at an amazing small inn/hotel in Usk. Lovely extra touches in the room - tea,coffee etc Breakfast was great.

Small room but fairly comfortable. Old windows so outside noise but in a quiet village. The green emergency lighting in the room was so bright it lit the entire room up so I struggled to sleep. Breakfast was excellent pick what you want and served to you.

The room was comfortable and clean. The dinner menu was very limited and the meal was we did not enjoy the meal. The breakfast was overcooked and the sausage inedible.

Booked a one night stay as plan last minute changed. Breakfast excellent plenty of choice and good quality. Just a small complaint felt the pillows were a bit lumpy and struggled to get to sleep. Also one of the mugs were chipped in the room All in all a good stay and probably stay again when in area

The lock to our room did not work properly (the door had to be slammed with great force to get the key to engage). We reported this on arrival, but there was no sign of a fix during our two-day stay. This problem meant we had to seek assistance each time we left our room. Also the radiator was switched off when we arrived at circa 8pm, and the boiler was evidently switched off by that time as the heating did not come on when we turned the radiator on. So we shivered for the first evening,
