Our room was beyond basic for 400 euros/night. Worst hotel in Iceland for us. We were not even accommodated in the beautiful building that is used for advertising. Views are incredible but how this hotel is advertised is misleading.

Excellent room and wonderful shower. Very spacious. Lovely views of the glaciers. Lovely place.

Cet hôtel est en mauvais état. C’est un « motel » de base. La chambre est basique, murs et plinthes abîmées, le toilette se vide dans la chambre, la douche coule sur le parquet de la chambre, les bas de portes sont moisis, le robinet fuit et n’est même pas fixé correctement, la fenêtre ne se ferme pas bien, une malheureuse serviette toute fine et élimée par personne, le porte serviette est inexistant, le sèche serviette ne fonctionne pas, pas de lumière au plafond, une malheureuse lampe de chevet pour seul éclairage dont la prise est à partager avec votre chargeur de téléphone… la bouilloire ne fait pas bouillir l’eau, le salon commun est en mauvais état, le café à disposition est dans un Thermos froid et même pas une machine à capsules, la sortie de secours est condamnée, l’insonorisation est inexistante, les poignées sont cassées, le mur est fendu en deux, seuls 4 cintres pour 3 personnes, le petit déjeuner est industriel… bref ! Je ne conseille pas cet hôtel.

Sehr gut gelegen - nur ca. 15 Fahrminuten nach Höfn. Wir waren im neuen, modernen Haus mit einem schönen Blick auf den Gletscher. Frühstück war variabel und ausreichend. Nicht gut gefallen hat uns die Ausstattung im Badezimmer: keine Ablagen, keine Hacken - ich musste einen Stuhl aus dem Zimmer ins Bad stellen um Tuch, Kleidung und Kosmetik Tasche draufzulegen.

They have two buildings and one is nice and new and one is run down. Dont tell you which one you get until you get there. Extremely disappointed and ended up leaving and staying somewhere else.

The room was very small, Nothing was on the walls. Not cozy at all. Just like a hostel with private bathroom. A lot of rooms one next to each other.

This was a great stopover on the second day of our trip around the Ring Road. It is a great driving distance for our itinerary and close to many attractions. The food was wonderful and the staff was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was the perfect way to start our 3rd day of exploring.

Surprisingly good, recently built facility, breakfast delicious.

Converted international school dorms and was perfect for a night’s stay. The parking is free but a long distance in the rain. Absolutely beautiful pastoral setting Highly recommend

Nice breakfast buffet. Make sure to visit a quiet scenic spot about 7 minutes away called Eskey, which offers excellent views of the mountains, glaciers, and the delta.

The room was clean and nice. They also had a nice spot to sit outside to enjoy the view.

It was an excellent stay and the staff was very friendly. We checked in just before 9pm and the restaurant has closed their kitchen but receptionist graciously offered to prepare lunch boxes for us. We appreciate this very much. Thank you for your friendly hospitality.
