Very friendly. Rooms are outdated. Was locked out of my room at 3:00 am because my key wouldn’t work.

Amazing place with great history and a full size airplane in the friars! What a story of WI ingenuity!

The only thing to complain was the breakfast, terrible

Quiet, clean, comfortable

We stayed here because we were going to house on the rock. This hotel adds a fun element and charm to your trip in between visiting there! The staff is readily available and super kind. We stayed in a basic room but it was really nice and clean. The price for staying for three days is pretty affordable. Definitely recommend!

Odd, in a good way!

Loved the plane.

The property is unique and has great antiques, including a WWII plane you can take a look into! The lobby has a great fireplace surrounded by old salon/barber chairs, very cool! Friendly staff and lovely grounds. The room was spacious. The only critique is that the electricity was odd and we could not figure out how to keep our chargers on when the lights weren’t. Nice pool area too. I would return.

We knew that we were not booking a 4 star and above hotel when we booked it. We booked it for the themed suites and to see what that was all about. It is What you would expect in an old hotel. It looks like it was made from a barn. The different rooms were cool. The pool in the hot tub worked and were nice. They need to not have the liquid air freshener running in the lobby all the time. It's very, very strong.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The Sherwood Forest room is the room we had and it was amazing. We will be back next year to check out another room. Its so peaceful and quiet. The check in was fast and easy. Not the best hot breakfast but it's all good. Can't wait for next year

This stay isn't for everyone, but we had a great time. The Don Q is dated, but steeped in history. The help was pleasant, room clean and bed comfortable. History abounds and the hope for it to return, at least partly, to it's former glory will bring us back. There would be a great opportunity for the owners to take advantage of this selling memorabilia like t-shirts, postcards etc. If you're looking for 5 stars, this isn't for you, if you want to add to a quirky adventure to House on the Rock, this may be the ticket.

A great and fun place to stay! The hotel is truly unique with its themed rooms, which added a creative and memorable touch to our visit. The front desk staff was especially friendly and communicative, making our stay both enjoyable and easy. Would definitely recommend!

I stay at Don Q Inn for the history of the place and the whimsey. I was pleasantly surprised to see that that had remodeled a bit since my last stay a year ago. Great place to go with many attractions around the area.

Excellent customer service and quiet hotel.

The owners were super nice and very accommodating. However the place is super old and falling apart. Scenery was nice and the themed room was fun but afraid of things falling apart. Also the breakfast was gross probably best to order or go out for breakfast.

The staff was very helpful and available. Their breakfast was very ample and had eggs, sausage, waffles, juice, cereal, coffee, biscuits & gravy. The room was large.
