What a great place to stay, the room was very nice and the common area spaces were comfortable and they even have a shared kitchen and dining space to prepare your own meals and hang out. Would highly recommend!

We had a superior triple room for our family with a shared bathroom. The room was great and we did not have any issues with the bathroom sharing. Our room was situated right next to the breakfast/common area and entrance which was noisy. The staff preparing the breakfast were speaking very loudly at least an hour before breakfast which made sleeping in challenging.

Property needs some updates and some staff were helpful others not much. Location is it’s highlight

We stayed in one of the rooms (not one of the camp sites). There was originally a small mix up with the rooms (they gave us keys to the wrong room) but fixed it immediately and were helpful. Room was nice, had a sink available. Bathroom was shared with other guests in the building. Bathroom was nice and staff kept it clean.

The room was nice and clean, but there was quite a bit of noise coming from the common area. People were playing pool and slamming doors until about 1am. Made it hard to sleep.

Easily accessible from Ring Road. Nice size rooms and very clean! The only thing I would recommend is putting dark curtains in the Living Room/kitchen given there is a bed there.

The Farmhouse Lodge is a group of various buildings that allow people with different travel ideas to put those ideas into action. For instance, people were sleeping in their own tents on the property, people were sleeping in the tent-like places that are permanently on the property, people were sleeping in a hostel of sorts, and we had a private, one bedroom little house. You must keep in mind that this place is an old farm, so the place is old and not fancy. However, we enjoyed the space, the views, and the convenience to three different tours we took. The reason it lost a star is because we had no way to block the sunlight when we were trying to sleep. When Iceland has 20 hours of sun, guests still need to sleep…likely more than four hours. We stuffed pillows into the windows which almost worked. Stay here if you want a convenient location near the south shore!

Loved the location, felt very private and quiet. Would absolutely stay here again.

Eine sehr saubere, praktische und solide Unterkunft zum Guten Preis. Ohne Personal, Self Check in. Ich kann sie empfehlen wenn man einfach nur nett schlafen möchte. Frühstück ist möglich wenn man möchte.

Our room was with shared bathroom and both were clean. The building itself is clean and well maintained. The only flaw is the shared kitchen it was dirty, microwave was very dirty and all surfaces too. We had very easy self check in, and located our room quickly.

Happy with everything but the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Facilities were clean. Location worked well. Bathroom for the 4 person room was incredibly small. Tiny shower area with no curtain or barrier resulted in everything getting wet . No squeegee to try to somewhat clean up the water.

The quiet was wonderful. What a lovely spot to stay for a few days. The food is renowned. Enough said.

Wasnt super ideal for 1 bathroom / shower for 10 rooms. Overall good stay though espicially considering the options you have in this area of iceland

Struttura semplice ma accogliente. Quello che ci si aspetta da un Farmhouse. Completamente isolata.

Das Zimmer waren sehr modern ausgestattet mit bequemen Betten und tollem Bad, allerdings fehlte ein Schrank oder anderer Stauraum. Die Gemeinschaftsküche war gut ausgestattet, der Raum allerdings etwas lieblos gestaltet und mit Gerümpel (alte Matratzen, Bauholz, etc.)

Um lugar calmo, com um clima gostoso e energia boa! Uma cozinha comunitária que tinha tudo que precisávamos, banheiro cheiroso e limpo e o quarto impecável!
