We parked on their rear carpark and as a regular business traveller, I diligently and carefully completed their paper parking form with our vehicle details - Only three weeks later to find a PNC for £100.... (it being dated as 30th June arriving on the 11th June?) I rang and spoke to three different people " The Managers not here, Someone will call you back, I can't deal with this!" the usual excuses when no one intends to do anything! So I emailed them after each call only to have the given email address enquiries@ Then also emailed, directly and through their portal and again without any response! Given this attitude receiving this treatment faced with this type of practiced responses its a regular thing they are facing...

This hotel is perfectly positioned for everything you need to do or find, staff are amazing, I've got a speak problem and they where happy to help me, I would 100% stay there again

Please note that the stairs from the car park to the back of the hotel are not for the faint hearted in rain! Metal circular stairs with a tight wind is not something that is fun with baggage. Similarly the stairs to my room were also quite tight with baggage. This is important for many to note. I was on the 2nd floor. But the bigger issue for me was the shower. I did not raise this with reception as it was nearly midnight at the time. The shower temperature fluctuated between scalding (highly dangerous) to very cold regardless of what I did. I managed to negotiate the time as it moved from one to the other in order to shower but as it was very weak it was not a great experience. On a positive note, the room was clean, tidy and with plenty of sockets.

Budget two nights but having no hot water until a staff member came to the room with a drill and screwdriver to sort was not great. The shower pressure was very poor also. Dog smell on the stairs up to the room in the hotel. It states on the hotel facilities an iron and ironing board. What I was given to use was shocking and the iron ended up marking my shirt. I appreciate it was cheap but I will nevwe stay here again.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the venue I needed to visit and the fact that it had parking. So 10 out of 10 for that. I wasn't really fussed about anything else. They did offer me a full english breakfast for £10 so I had that - it was reasonable. The room was clean but a bit small, view to the street, a bit noisy obviously. Bed was comfy. Staff were very helpful. So all in all, I would say I got what I paid for. yes, I would use it again if visitng that area.

I stayed as I needed a room for the night, last minute. For the price it was actually fairly decent. The carpets in the hallways and stairs probably aren't the best choice. However room was clean and bathroom was fine. Staff member was helpful and the Indian restaurant connected did decent food and reduced for hotel guests. Shame they didn't make me a Chicken Tikka Madras despite writing it on the box, it was Lamb Tikka 😂 but I couldn't be bothered going downstairs to get them to sort it, but it was overall very nice anyway. There is limited free parking at the back of the hotel, quite a lot of stairs though from the rear of the property so might not suit people who struggle with stairs. Would stay again in a similar situation. It was roasting and no sign of any fans in the room, bed was comfortable though.

We were on the 2rd floor and the steps were very narrow for walk up and down on. Found it a bit risky. But overall cheap and cheerful

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was freezing and no window in room!!! Very strange little room. There was a window which couldn’t open into the inside corridor!

With a few improvements, this hotel could be a reasonable place to stay, but several issues need attention. The carpet throughout the building requires a thorough clean, and the hallway walls could benefit from a quick repaint as they were very dirty. Reception and the corridors were unheated, making the atmosphere feel unwelcoming and extremely cold. When we arrived in December, our room window had been left open so the room was freezing. It would’ve felt so much better walking into a warm room. There was nowhere to hang coats, no hooks and not even hangers on the clothes rail. The electric heater had a loose metal panel, which felt unsafe. The TV was very small and unwatchable due to the poor signal. The rear access spiral staircase would difficult to navigate and unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility. The area outside the reception door looked untidy, with items like an old paint can and a piece of AstroTurf left lying around. Breakfast was essentially non existent, and no information was provided about it. Would we stay again, definitely not unless the above was attended to.

I was absolutely eaten alive by bed bugs, had them jumping all over me in the night.

The room look like clean, but I can feel some insects on my body when I was sleep and I can see very small insects on my belongings. Window was very strange, It will hit the body when opened. It will hurt when careless. No staff stay in reception, customer needs to ring someone to open the entrance door. Customer need to climb stair from car park to lobby, don't carry anything, it very inconvenient.

I registered my car on their ipad at reception, but have still received a fine for staying in the car park. Tried to contact the hotel, but have been completely ignored....

Great location, close to shops, restaurants etc. Room was good size, clean and well maintained.

No mobility & disabled access. No elevator. Very noisy area. Tiny rooms. Very old building, unfitted for hotel lodger. Very dirty old narrow garage.
