Great location in Kaiserslautern. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and shopping. There is no elevator so 2nd floor is four flights up. It was good exercise for us but any one with back, knee or frail will want to think twice. Also like many European hotels, the shower is tiny. But staff is so helpful and had great communication. I would stay again.

Zimmer sehr modern, mit Klimaanlage. Die Fenster konnte man öffnen und es gab einen Rollladen zum Verdunkeln. Es gab einen modernen Kleiderschrank, aber keinen Schrank. Ablageflächen gab es genug, auch Steckdosen. Dusche gut, keine Stockflecken oder Schimmelspuren Zimmer im 2. OG ohne Aufzug. Rezeption nicht immer besetzt, am Eingangstor über eine Sprechanlage gibts Instruktionen. Carport hinterm Hotel (5 Parkplätze) wird mit der Zimmerkarte geöffnet, sofern freigeschaltet. Bei Problemen ist jemand in 5 Minuten vor Ort. Frühstück im 1. OG wird vom Hotelier zubereitet und ist reichlich. Auch glutenfreie Brötchen (Schär) hab ich bekommen. Direkt hinterm Einkaufszentrum und somit mitten im Zentrum.

In der Dusche kam bei heißem Wasser nur sehr wenig Wasser raus. Lage sehr zentral.

My room was clean and a good size. It had a small fridge and tea / coffee making facilities. The best aspects of this hotel were the location, easy access to the hotel with individual code and the host/ owner. The owner went out of his way to help and I was able to leave my case in the room all day and pick it up on the ground floor.

The property and rooms were very clean. The owners were very nice and provided a gluten free breakfast for my husband. (GF dedicated toaster). The area was great to wander and shop.

There was no one at the hotel, I was just sent a code and the room number, and I was not informed about this until the day I checked in (so when I could no longer cancel the reservation). One of the reasons to stay at a hotel is because there is someone there to help navigate the local area. And the person I spoke to via the intercom was neither friendly nor helpful. The room was nice, even if it was three flights up (no elevator).

After spending one night in a local outdated, smelly military lodging facility with no AC, I had to find better accommodations for my wife and I. Hotel H.E.Y.M.A.N.N was conveniently located for my business, located in downtown Kaiserslautern near great restaurants and sights, immaculately clean and organized and had AC to keep us very comfortable throughout our visit. The continental breakfast each morning was great and very fulfilling to start our days. The secure parking was also an added comfort. The proprietors were very welcoming and willing to assist us. If we make another trip to this area of Germany, we will definitely stay here again and recommend this to all travelers!
