Room was ready at check in. Smelled fresh and clean. Staff was nice. Breakfast on Saturday was fresh and constantly restocked. Very nice over night stay

Very nice but still too expensive for what it is. Nevertheless still less expensive than being in Penn state. Thank for keeping the rates down

Nice staff and clean rooms

The breakfast was the probably the best part. The one day we were able to enjoy it, since it’s not open until 6:30 and my family had to be out the door before 6. There was visible dirt on the walls, bathroom and beds. The television needed repaired when we checked in and the phone in the room wasn’t functioning. While I have stayed in worse hotels overall this was a disappointing experience.

Great location if want to stick with a chain hotel, but still want that country feel. Had a nice view of the mountain ridges to the east and the mountain gap. Room was very clean and spacious. Would stay here more often for hiking in the nearby state forests but the rates are usually much higher due to nearby PSU

We booked last minute and hand noting short of an exceptional weekend. From check in to check out everything was so easy. Plenty of parking, every staff from maintenance to front desk was wonderful, breakfast was delicious, the pool was clean and ready, the laundry room worked perfectly. Our room was nice a clean with plenty of room, the heat and a/c worked perfectly. My only "complaints" would be the water pressure isn't very strong for the shower and the hot water peaked at luke warm at best, but thats grasping at straws for a complaint. Exceptional stay and would/will definitely return next time im in the area.

Simple, convenient, great service.

Staff was excellent and very attentive to all issues as they were great ambassadors for the company. Did have issues with the plumbing though as faucets and showers would only pump out lukewarm water for few minutes. This even after plumber had been called to the building on the first night of our stay. Other minor issue is that the in-room safe was locked closed when we arrived.

Superb check in. Great staff!

Room I reserved was a king with roll-in shower. The room we received was 2 queens with a tub. The king room with roll-in shower was THE reason I stayed at this motel. If the room style was not available, Expedia should not be listing it. I have no idea if the room we received was less $$ than the one I reserved. If it was, I should receive a refund for the difference.

We love this Holiday Inn except on weekends when there is a Penn State game and the room rate doubles! Super friendly staff. Rooms are clean and a generous size.
