Everything was excellent as always!

Room and beddings are very clean and comfortable . Hotel is in a beautiful and quiet location. Hotel is beautiful decorated. Breakfast is delicious. Dinner options are delicious too.

Best hotel we stayed at in Iceland. Great service, food, room, even a hot tub). Highly recommend!

Bathroom was cramped. Containing shower water within shower area was impossible. Vanity sink was super small. Room was spacious. Loved that part.

We love Hotel Varmaland. This was the second time we stayed here during our trip to Iceland. I described our great experience here in an earlier review, and this time was no different. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Great property with great location and amenities for a perfect family stay. The complimentary breakfast was really great. I wish the bathrooms has few more square feet added, it's tiny 😀 Overall, I will prefer staying again in this hotel if I am in the area.

Sehr schöne, ruhige und saubere Zimmer. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut und die Aussicht dazu natürlich genial! Der Poolbereich außen ist sehr schön und wir hatten ihn komplett für uns. Die Möglichkeit zum Abendessen gibt es, allerdings ist die Speisekarte sehr klein und auch alles sehr teuer. Alles in einem ein schöner Aufenthalt, ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

Lovely hotel with small bathroom for such a good sized room . Food excellent

Relatively new hotel. Rooms has very strange floor plan. microscobic bathroom. That is VERY unusual for a 4 star hotel. Also very unusual for Iceland. Restaurant has good atmosphere and have potential, but food lack seasoning like simple salt and pepper. We had ribey steaks. Not salted at all. That's one example in many. It's like a lot of the small details is missing. They want to be a modern hotel, but they are not 100% there yet. Staff friendly and seems they want to do things correct. But my guess is its local young people that lack training
