Beautiful views from the room and peaceful night’s stay. Staff were excellent - consistently great service. Dinner was also excellent.

This is our fourth year in a row staying here with our dog. It has got better and better each time. The view is amazing, the food is great and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. Just overall a lovely place to visit. Great walks from the pub too.

Very tired and stained carpet with noisy and smelly ventilation shaft outside room.

Lovely place. Staff very friendly and accomodating and hospitable a- allowed us to sit in the restaurant (with views) ahead of dinner. Lovely breakfast. Altogether a wonderful and relaxing trip.

It was very over priced. The room was small, the carpet was stained, the shower was like warm and the breakfast not good - poached eggs on avocado were undercooked.

Beautiful and comfortable room with spectacular views from a private terrace, we watched deer in the fields. Dinner was superb with fresh local ingredients

The property is lovely and in a beautiful location. The staff are excellent and very friendly. Sadly, the room was very dusty and the underside of the non-slip shower mat had black mould/mildew. The restaurant looked beautiful but unfortunately the chef used so much salt the food was inedible. Even the breakfast was smothered in rocks of salt. The staff told me that it was 2 different chefs but clearly they were trained in the same way. None of our party could eat their dinner and we couldn't cope with the breakfast either.

We enjoyed our stay here in a lovely area, countryside views and peaceful. We stayed 3 nights and the menu was small and unchanged. Small tweeks to the special. Booked a room with the terrace which was lovely as we had excellent weather. Generally the room was well designed, like 2 comfy chairs not 1 as is often the case. Bathroom looked smart but usual no place to put wash bags, no towel rail so wet towels on back of door hooks ...not thought through. Staff were great, friendly and helpful.

Very tranquil setting…. Great sitting outside with a beer or a cup of coffee in the morning. Staff is exceptional…. Very helpful. Room’s comfortable and quiet. No A/C…. No problem in May….might be a problem in the summer. Great restaurant
