Lovely hotel and pub… food is really good. Location perfect

We had a lovely room overlooking the marshes. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. There were toiletries for our use and great towels. We had evening meal downstairs and it was excellent. Breakfast had a lot of choices and the staff were very attentive. Booking out was easy and the staff made us feel very welcome. Will definitely stay again.

Fantastic,staff brilliant,rooms bang tidy and clean.The breakfast selection was varied and what I had was cooked to perfection.Great nights kip and I would definitely stop again.

Great place to stay when we’re working over in Parkgate, staff are always great, rooms are very nice.

Twin room was a bit small, but service and cleaning was very good, good food, a good range of beers, friendly and helpful staff, and great views over the marshes!

The room was excellent. Very clean, with good amenities. The staff were very friensly and attentive. We had an evening meal, again excellent food. Substantial breakfast to set us on our way.

Spotless rooms which are all individual. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A hairdryer in the room is a great help. We love the atmosphere of this hotel and pub.

Room spotlessly clean,comfy beds,lovely decor in hotel,nice food,and real ales---highly recommended!! We stayed in room 21---would have liked a larger screen tv. in room-present one too small !

Total comfort during our stay. Accommodation, food, all just what was needed on a November midweek stay. Will return.

Our room overlooked the river Dee with a bay window and armchairs to enjoy the view. A big super king sized bed. Good tea tray and water. Spacious bathroom. Dinner was very good .breakfast was lovely portions. Staff very helpful and efficient

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There are toiletries provided which is always a help. My only complaint is that the room we had was by the kitchen extraction unit. If we stayed again, I would book a room at the front. We were late booking this time. We have stayed twice before and loved it. Just unlucky this time. I woild still recommend, just check out the room beforehand. The hotel is really wel situated and the food is very good.

A wonderful location right on the Dee Estuary. Although there’s no flowing water we sat on the terrace and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening sun and watched the world and wildlife go by. Our evening meal was great as was breakfast. A lovely big room, very clean and comfortable. All in all a great stay.

Great parking. Nice clean room. Great dining options close by aswell as good food in the Ship.
