Quick check in , lovely staff, ideal for our overnight stay , good food

Lovely homely hotel, friendly staff.. Stepped off train, right into hotel.. Noise from passing trains didn't bother us even with window open all night.. Room compact but everything we needed.. Shower only cold water in morning but staff member apologised & got someone on to it.. Food in bar amazing & breakfast so tasty, 1 of best we've ever had.. Will defo be back..

Lovely hotel in an excellent location on the sea front and next to the train station. Rooms were clean and breakfast great. All of the staff were friendly and approachable. Would definitely stay again

Single room. Small but fine. Mattress was a bit lumpy. Shower was a bit "weak". Room was clean. Evening meal in the lounge was excellent...it was busy which is always a good sign. Breakfast was just superb. Fresh, local produce. Cooked fresh and hot as were the plates. Tea, toast, orange juice. Best part of the stay.
