Located in a quiet place - that values in Troyes as the proximity of all restaurants/ attractions - is in a walking distance. All rooms are clean and air-conditioned - great plus - during our stay with +36C day temperature. Beds ( king size) are great with high quality linen/pillows. Good size of the bathroom / shower- though only large dripping shower head is operational. All utilities/ trims are old and outdated as probably at most appartments/hotels in Troyes - but in OK shape - at least wooden floor does not squeak on each step. Communication to host is a challenge - no response in the booking messenger / but I managed to setup check-in by calling phone Nr.

Really unique stay. The hotel is very old (in a good way). Loved our room and the air conditioning saved our lives when it was 40 degrees in Troyes. The bathroom was small to what I am used to in Canada, but I am a bigger person and that is common with Europe. Great location, very friendly and accomodating staff.

Merveilleux hôtel du 16ème siècle, avec le confort. J’ai eu la chance d’être surclassé avec un appartement de 70m2. Seul hic: Le vieux Troyes, les ruelles étroites l'accès a la cour et au parking.

Disappointing stay at this property given the previous reviews. No clear check-in instructions were received, my message to the property prior to arrival was not responded to then, when we did access the property, at first glance, it looked presentable. However, curtains were not hung very well, the toilet seat was broken, toilet roll holder was loose, there were no plugs for the sinks, and the shower was dirty. Thankfully, the bed was clean and comfortable, but we left earlier than we anticipated.

Upon arriving at the address, we couldn't believe we were in the right place. I does not look like any normal hotel and when we called the number, we were told they wouldnopen until 4 so we came back then. once the doors were oenm

Via hotels.com wil ik een hotelkamer zoals het hoort boeken. Dit verblijf is dat niet. Zie bijgevoegde foto van hun eigen verklaring. Bovendien was er een lek in het plafond, niet aangenaam. Hiervoor kregen wij als compensatie gratis ontbijt. Foto van emmer voor lekkend water op te vangen, + plafond, alsook foto van kast. Ontvangstruimte en traphal op gelijkvloers heel rommelig. Op onze vraag waar en wanneer er kon ontbeten worden, kregen wij volgend antwoord: het ontbijt wordt om 20u00, dus de avond ervoor, voor uw deur afgeleverd (de baguette is dus ´s morgens helemaal niet meer krokant). Fruitsap, in naamloze flesje, 2de dag geen boter... Ik begrijp hun instelling om oude gebouwen in hun waarde te herstellen, maar een (hotel)kamer verhuren vereist een minimum aan service. Wij zoeken helemaal geen luxe. Hadden wij van hun waarschuwing dat ze geen hotel zijn geweten, hadden wij dit niet geboekt. Zelfs een chambre h´hote geeft betere (minimum)service. Meer niet nodig.

This is a unique place to stay. It is a very old building with lots of character - our room had wooden beams! The breakfast is given to you in a basket and you eat it in your room. The receptionist was so polite and friendly and so helpful with recommendations. The hotel is ideally situated only minutes away from the city centre. The city took us by surprise - it is stunning! You can park on site but you have to pay €20 but it is worth it for peace of mind.

This hotel is not in good condition. Scalding water temperature; continuously leaking bathroom faucet; bathtub with a sign -not for use; peeling ‘leather’ couch with a too small cover to hide the condition. WIFI was not operable for more than 24 hours. Indifferent staff.

Ce qui crée d' emblée surprise et décéption. Un immeuble de charme transformé en appart'hôtel. Un bric à brac dès la réception et dans le hall de l' immeuble Rénovation qui a très mal vieilli, un canapé complètement déchiré recouvert d'un triste plaid gris, un réfrigérateur rouillé sur lequel est posé une cafetetière pour cacher la misère, une installation éléctrique pas très rassurante, des carreaux crasseux, un lit oú il faut grimper en bout de lit car pas la place sur le côtés.... bref vous avez compris. Par contre c'est propre, la literie est confortable et l'appartement bien situé dans Troyes. Nous ne reviendrons pas.
