Lorna was a great host, super welcoming and chatty. Room was clean and packed with drinks and biscuits, even had marshmallows for your hot choc! Location was great, just a short walk to town down the scenic railway path. Breakfast in the morning was lovely,

Yes, lovely clean and quiet room. The breakfast and available snacks were great. Our hostess was very friendly and could not do enough to help us with any questions that we might have had the area. We would definitely go back again.

Lorna was an excellent host. The dogs were made very welcome, and even got a sausage for breakfast. Our breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and large portions. A 20 minute walk into town along the old railway line. Would recommend this guesthouse.

Lorna was so incredibly accommodating and kind. She also made one of the best vegan breakfasts I've ever had and even went out of her way to get additional vegan snacks and treats when we mentioned it in the optional booking information (when she contacted me within about 15 minutes of booking). The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. Very close to town, either by the road or scenic railway path.

It would be difficult to outdo Lorna for friendliness, helpfulness, and always being there . Good advice, nice view from the room, and great breakfasts.

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was small but very comfortable with views of the hills. The tea and coffee choices are the best I've ever seen anywhere. Lorna is a lovely host and makes the best breakfast with plenty of choices. The location is approx. 15 minutes walk into Keswick and the Threkeld trail, just down the hill, make walking there better away from the traffic. We would definitely recommend Brookfield and hope to vist again.

Very nice cosy B&B highly recommended

Myself and my young Cavapoo, Rose have just stayed for 2 nights. It was not in the centre of town but only a 10 min walk from the centre. The view of Latrigg from my bedroom window was amazing. Lorna is so welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. There is also all the little touches in the room like cotton pads, refreshments etc. Great for a solo traveller & her best friend. Would highly, highly recommend staying here. Thank you for such a lovely time.

An honestly cosy B&B with a good view and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff and service were excellent, as well as being situated in a nice area only a short commute from the town centre. I enjoyed my stay here thoroughly and would definitely book here again!

Very welcoming hosts. Fantastic breakfast which we all found something we liked. Plenty of choice for even the most fussy. Really comfortable bed and lots of extras in the room. Very cosy and spacious room, very Lake District, traditional and relaxing. Can’t fault it.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here, the facilities are top notch, with the best cooked breakfast I've had at a B&B or hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Hosts couldn’t do enough, all the little touches made a big impact. Breakfast choices were amazing, and so lovely. The biscuits and variety of teas, coffees and hot chocolates got replaced once used in the room everyday. Good base for exploring Keswick, just a 15/20 minutes walk in. Clean room, parking was across the road but we got parked there everyday.

From arrival to departure, Lorna & Simon could not have done anymore to make our stay wonderful. Will certainly return.

Had a lovely stay at Brookfield B&B. We were welcomed and well looked after by amazing hosts - Lorna & Simon. They went out of their way to cater for us and were so kind and knowledgable throughout our trip. Room was lovely - comfy bed and plenty of space for a couple. Home cooked breakfasts were yummy - you must try the Keswick Ketchup!! All in all - a stay that made our holiday. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!
