Stayed there for 2 nights,solo female traveller and 11 yo son, he's autistic, however ,I didn't tell the staff about his diagnosis as we always have hotel stays without any problems,on second night he was noisy around shower time started to meltdown which can happen when he is exhausted,was 9:30 pm, I had terrible knocking on the floor,few minutes later,the manager lady came to my door and practically was shouting at me to stop the noise, I was trying my best anyway to calm him down aiming to get him out of shower straight to bed, I don't mind getting notices for this, but the very unfriendly gesture of her made me feel terrible which never happened in many hotels we stayed before, he finally went to bed minutes after she left and was calm . Myself I will never go there again and advise any Sen child parents to think before they book there.

Easy parking , very clean . Older property but loads of character. Best pieces for me was the warm welcome and the couple could not have helped me more and the food is absolutely fantastic. Family run very personable , would definitely stay again

This property is unique, it is a very old property with all mod cons and some contemporary styling. Loved the facilities and I am a lover of lots of milk in my strong tea, I always have to ask for extra milk … not here, extras for all your tea and coffee making was on the landing. The room itself and the beds were comfortable, we travelled as a family of three with me and my husband in a double and our little one on a put me up. We had a tv and lots of storage space for clothes etc. A little balcony off of our room to make the most of the light evening, The place is situated on a main busy road and the balcony did over look this but after 10pm the traffic died down considerably. The owners/hosts were very lovely and attentive, Breakfast was a 10/10 and some. The hosts specifically catered for a 5 year old on top of the extensive breakfast options they offered. We had no issues during our stay apart from the room got very warm (even with the blind down durning the day as suggested) and a fan provided in the room. Would stay here again.
