I really enjoyed my stay. Lovely house in a beautiful village.

Very enjoyable stay in a lovely property.

The cottage is very quaint and neat!! The welcome guide left by the owners was very detailed and gave us information on local shops/eats/things to see and do. The kitchen was very functional, and the living room/dining was perfect! Beds were very comfortable and spacious, as was the bathroom! The surrounding village was lovely and the pub was a 10second walk down the road! We really enjoyed our stay!

The first time we have stayed here, the cottage was so lovely, warm homely and clean. We only had to walk around the corner to The Blue Bell Inn and had a wonderful meal. The village is a hidden gem, we chatted to some of the people in the village and they were so friendly. They had a Street Fayre today, which is what they do every year on the second Sunday of June, unfortunately we had commitments, we had to leave early, however we do plan to book the cottage for next year and stay longer. We definitely recommend.

Very comfortable cottage in a quiet village close to York and surrounding countryside. Had everything we needed for our short break. Would highly recommend it.
