We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this charming farmhouse. Catherine was the perfect host, and our accommodation was comfortable, tastefully furnished and immaculately clean.

The B&B was lovely and Catherine was a great host, very welcoming and keen to ensure that everything was perfect for us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was amazing. A really enjoyable stay in a lovely location, which was a perfect base to explore York from.

Wonderful and relaxing stay close to York.

Where to start with this wonderful B&B? Excellent communication from owner Catherine when I enquired about leaving the car there before check in time as we were attending York Races.Catherine arranged early check in and advised on taxis to the Races. The whole B&B is very tastefully decorated with very high quality everywhere beds are an absolute dream! Breakfast is outstanding freshly cooked beautifully presented and top quality! This is a working farm with calves loving life and Betty the cat ruling the roost - this place has to be seen to be believed. Catherine is an amazing host and this place is a total credit to her - I’ve stayed at many great B&B’s but if Heineken did B&B’s this would be it !

Owner was the perfect host - nothing was too much. Bedroom was lovely - very comfortable and clean. Plenty of storage and hanging space. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order. Plenty of options. Peaceful and quiet area. Park and ride into York under 10 minutes drives away. Great stay - would definitely recommend and return.

Perfect stay ! This is a little gem

The area is lovely quiet and open being a farm. The hostess was friendly. The room and surrounding areas had real nice touches and very echo friendly. Would highly recommend. Haven't had breakfast yet but I just know it will be stonking.

Catherine is a wonderful hostess, the place is clean and comfortable and beautifully presented. The farm is in the middle of nowhere but within short distances to villages with pubs or the park and ride to take you to York. The room had everything we needed and it was spacious, the bed was comfortable, tea and coffee provided with fresh milk available in the kitchenette. Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and was delicious, nothing was too much trouble. One of my favourite B&B’s ever, I can’t recommend it enough!

A wonderful night in a beautiful room. We were able to check in early after speaking with the host, came home late after a wedding with no trouble and they could t have been more accommodating. We had a delicious breakfast cooked in the morning too. Thank you!

Had a fantastic stay at Haggs Farm, Catherine was very friendly and even introduced us to the animal residents which was fun. The room was very clean, cosy and perfect for an overnight stay. The breakfast was great too. Highly recommended.

This is a gem of a b and b! Lovely location but very convenient for York and the outlet. Catherine is very contactable and responsive. Breakfast was fabulous. We will be back. We had a meal at The Nags Head in Askham Bryan which was lovely. Couldn’t get a taxi though so book ahead if you can

Our stay at Colton haggs farm couldn't have been more perfect, Catherine was absolutely amazing, couldn't do enough for us, very friendly, happy and very welcoming definitely goes that extra mile to make your stay perfect! The room was beautiful, so clean and you don't need for anything. Perfect location for us and Catherine recommended a little cosy pub not far from the B&B called bags head, it was a lovely little pub, very welcoming, beautiful food and lovely and warm. The breakfast was amazing in the morning, again Catherine went that extra mile cooked breakfast was so tasty. We will definitely return to this beautiful B&B, thankyou for a perfect stay Catherine, will look forward to seeing you again 🙂
