Fantastic again love it here

I didn't pay alot for my room and I got what I paid for. The staff were friendly and helpful enough but the place is quite run down. Noise. The sound from nearby units can be heard as if it is. coming within your own unit. Then there's the bar next door. Great bar but the music goes nightly until midnite or later. So no sleeping for Juliana's guests. The beach and ocean access right in front of Juliana's is a nice feature. And the yard is nicely kept.

Nice located and cozy cabin with a friendly staff

The listing did not mention the noise from the bar next door, music goes until midnight every night. We had issues with the water, first no cold water then no hot water. Bed uncomfortable. TV didn’t work and when they brought a new one that one didn’t work either. We asked to switch to a cabana away from the music and host did nothing. I am not sure how this place has the rating it does when you look at the actual reviews.

The bar next door is no small one. The music is loud and really energizing until midnight and no earlier whichever night. We had the cabin the closest and didn’t bother trying to sleep before midnight. The cabin is really nice, perfect with AC and the size was nice for two people. We cooked a lot and there were not a lot of ustensiles but we managed. The patio with the view and hammock was our highlight.

The staff was amazing. Shelly and Adriana were so accommodating, kind and considerate of our needs. I was there a week by myself as my daughter was on a dive trip and I felt very safe and secure. Santiago, kept the grounds clean and was very friendly and kind.

Julia’s Cabanas are a bit rustic but clean. It is located directly on the beach and is in close proximity to everything in Placencia Village. The staff was super friendly and made sure that I was enjoying my stay. There was a bar next door that often played music in the evenings. I loved this but if you don’t like music, go to bed early or are looking for quiet, this might not be the place for you. I really enjoyed the hammock on my beachfront cabana. The view was beautiful and there is always a nice breeze. I had a great time staying here and will definitely stay at Julia’s again.

Clean comfy room. Very nice staff.

Our cabana had 2 beds, for 3 persons cabana #3. Description was real and honest, A/C worked and helped with the bar noise. The beach was taken care of, clean, all recommendations were spot on and appreciated. The cabana did not have the second doors with the net only. The water pressure in the shower seemed weak, but it was enough even to wash my long hair, so no problem. We would appreciate more hooks on the walls or a stool to put our suitcase on. We had amazing 3 nights!

My stay was amazing. The staff was wonderful. And the location was ideal for anyone who wants to immerse themselves into the local culture.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. View from the porch was spectacular.

The room was large and spotless. Refrigerator worked well. Staff helped me to book a scuba trip and checked on me regularly to see if I needed anything. The bed was really comfortable. It took me a minute to figure out that the hot water in the shower was really hot and you had to use the cold water to give it pressure, but is was heaven after a long scuba day. I spent a lot of time in the hammock on the porch. Perfect location in the middle of the walking area of Placencia.

Basic accommodations. Nothing fancy but exactly as advertised. We loved the location, and the hammock on the balcony. We pretty much lived on the balcony!

Fine little place, best price on the beach. Unfortunately right next door to a late night bar which literally makes the walls vibrate. The good news is Julia’s discloses this upfront and sadly the bar is overstepping their allotted noise time. Bad for the other businesses around them. I ended up moving out after one night.

This location was ideal! Our patio overlooked the beach and we were able to walk into the beach unobstructed. It was beautiful! There were several restaurants, bars and stores nearby, including grocery. The walking roads made it easy to get around safely without a need for a golf cart. Although warned repeatedly about the nearby bar noise, we were not disturbed by noise. The staff was excellent. Truly a gem!
