Bath sink was gross, faucets to short for sink, no daily maid svc on wknds

I really liked it. The price was very reasonable. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The room was very humble. Nothing super fancy...which I like. Very safe feeling. Close enough to the river. Close enough to other amenities like gas stations, restaurants, and grocery.

Great stay! Would stay again! Our stay had clean rooms, convenient location, nice pool, and music Friday night!

It was a great place:) I loved it - awesome cabin - stayed in #10 . Music Friday night was such a added bonus :) Would stay again and will !

Property very good. Arrived late at night and had a bit of trouble with finding key, but finally did find it. Cabin 14 needed some repair work to the bathroom door and the dead bolt did not seat properly to lock. Coffeemaker had a leak and could not be used, but we were only there to sleep and did not really need it.

Our stay was great very clean and close to town. We will stay again.

The cabin was nice and clean. Very friendly staff.

People are friendly. Took a little while to get hot water for a shower and the room heater did not work very well.

This is a nice little place in a small town. It’s not fancy or new, but the decor is nice and my room was comfortable. I’d definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Not my style. If you like old hotels this may be for you. Very nice people in the bar area.

Very centrally located to the nearby State Parks. This is a very basic motel that was perfect for the needs of serving as a base for our activities. It was clean and very practical. If you are looking for fancy..this is not it. If you want practical, this is it. The rooms were spacious and allowed for our family to play our nightly rambunctious game of cards. We visited after Christmas so it was blustery and cold. However they have some great outdoor facilities that would be fun to use during warmer times of the year. There is a Family Dollar store across the highway to help out with the restocking of supplies. For a town of 400 people, there is a very surprising large variety of restaurants to choose from. Other activities that we enjoyed: Star Gazing; Hiking and endless nature photography opportunities. Kerrville and Fredericksburg are 1.5 hr away and have some great dining and shopping options. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Great property and people. Late check is was a bit confusing but otherwise a nice experience.

Would not recommend this motel. I Do not usually leave comments or reviews but this motel is bad and we would never go back. I need not say more.

Excelente cabaña para nosotros, que fuimos a conocer el Parque de Lost Maples, a 22 millas de ahi, comoda, tranquila y justo con lo necesario para estar muy agusto....

this is mom and pop operation and the owners were very helpful and friendly

We've stayed here before, so we knew we would love this experience, also!

Difficult to contact manager. No office staff, but room ready by check in time.
