Lovely hosts. Like home from home.

Lovely warm welcome and stay

What a splendid two nights’ stay, and what an excellent B&B! We found the room first-rate in every respect, and the hosts very accommodating, helpful, and pleasant — most especially over the two wonderful breakfasts. We can thoroughly recommend Pontyclerc, and hope to return soon for a further stay in the South Wales area.

We had a fabulous stay at Pontyclerc. Jane and Nigel were welcoming and made us feel at home right away. The room was light and spacious, the bed comfortable and the shower a delight. The breakfast was perfect. We thoroughly recommend Pontyclerc.

Nigel and Jane were gracious hosts with a stunning farmhouse. Best Breakfast we have had in years and the homemade jam needs to be given an award Peaceful, charming, sparkling clean… we can only say to future guests ‘ you deserve the best book with Nigel and Jane ‘

Tenu par un couple de personnes charmantes, cet établissement au calme est parfait pour découvrir la région avec leurs bons conseils en prime pour visiter la cote et bénéficier de bonnes adresses où dîner. On salue aussi Rosie et Jasmine les adorables sœurs ânesses les mascottes de ce chouette B&B.

It was a lovely b&b, just what you’d expect from a farm location (though it was very close to a busy road). Jane, the proprietor, met me at the door and showed me to my room. The room was beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the ensuite was large and modern. The breakfast menu was incredible, ranging from cereal to a full Welsh breakfast, much of it prepared from local ingredients.

The hosts were wonderful, great to get some local knowledge of the area. Suggestions on what to do in the area were very helpful. Food was excellent, hot and plentiful.

Very relaxing stay in lovely old Welsh farm house. Comfortable and well appointed room. Great cooked breakfast. Very friendly and helpful owners. Wonderful view from our bedroom.

This is a wonderful farmhouse stay. The hosts are a delight of knowledge and experience. We needed quiet after too many city stays and this offered the perfect antidote!

This is simply a beautiful, homely and welcoming stay. Jane and Nigel were the perfect hosts. Food was excellent too. Nigel helpfully got us maps and gave recommendations/ advice. The setting is peaceful and cosy. It is in rural Wales and we had the true Welsh warmth and hospitality. Nigel showed us around the grounds and we met the Donkeys which were lovely. We cannot recommend this enough if you are wanting a relaxing, authentic and cosy couple of nights. We left with warm hearts. This is simply a must stay.

Quaint, historic, lovely. Very clean. USB outlet logically located by side of bed. Spacious, modern shower. Wonderful breakfast! Coffee maker and hot water pot in room. FANTASTIC hosts!

I would say we was made very welcome by the owners the room was king-size and really comfortable clean and very tidy and high quality furniture and the breakfast was very good quality we was there from 7th to 9th June 2024 and we will definitely go back and tell our family and friends about this lovely place Louise and Barry Williams
