The rooms where spotless and the bed was very comfortale. The staff were very friendly. Food was very good and good portions. Defenitely going to book again in the near future.

The hotel and pub looked lovely and it was a comfortable room, however I had a couple of issues with cleanliness in my room. There were small marks on the duvet cover, which may not have been fresh but still make it appear used. There was also a dead spider in the bed when I pulled the duvet cover back completely. I tried to speak to someone at reception but there was no one there when I went down in the evening, or when I checked out in the morning.

Lovely hotel. Staff very attentive. Room cleaned every day of our stay when it wasn't really necessary. Breakfast fine. Evening meals were very good and portions huge. Free WiFi. Nice outdoor seating area. Wouldn't hesitate to return

Fantastic place, just off the A1M, perfect for a stop off. Very clean, comfortable and quiet room. Smoke free parking. The staff were very helpful. Food was amazing, huge portions at dinner and freshly cooked breakfasts. Really great place to stay!

A comfortable, quiet yet conveniently situated hotel. Our king size bed was a little firm, but that's personal taste. Breakfasts were tasty and nicely cooked and served. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel. There's plenty of car parking, but it does get busy with diners' cars. The free wi-fi was fine. Out tv needed a new aerial cable, which was sorted immediately when we raised the issue. Staff were friendly and approachable. Sadly, as the twelve bedrooms are all up one or two flights of steep, quite narrow stairs, we won't be returning - but would recommend it to more mobile travellers.

There were several family members who stayed her for a family reunion and it was perfect. Caitlin was a lovely lady who looked after us she was extremely kind and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were just as nice and friendly. The meals were great and huge, it was a shame that we couldn't have stayed longer to try one of there roast dinners. The rooms were spotless and very well kept. If we needed extras for our rooms we only needed to ask. We would definitely stay here again and would recommended it, the only negative would be that the reception desk would have someone there, otherwise perfect
