There was no problem to check in during the night. Please don’t expect luxury 5* resort , it’s ok hotel for sleep. Because of construction works pleas plan 7-10 min pedestrian way or 1km by taxi to reach the airport

We spent a week at Hotel la Gil, and have no complaints. Hotel and room were clean and staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money!

24 hour reception is not 24 hour, despite being advertised as such, shower not working, bugs in room

There’s a fast food spot and a small convenience shop nearby, both with long opening hours—very handy for late arrivals or quick bites. Plus, just a 2-minute walk away, there's a local market with fresh fruit and other essentials, which was a pleasant surprise and made it easy to grab healthier snacks on the go. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for travelers in transit—efficient, well-located, and with just enough around to cover your basic needs.

It was my first trip to Bucharest and the hotel was perfect for me to visit the city!
