In countryside like setting peaceful and quiet. Property in great condition like brand new. Very nice place to stay

The overall hotel was alright. Though the cleaning staff did NOT take out the trash before I arrived (there was already rubbish in the bin when I entered) and previous occupant’s hair was found in multiple places. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was ok, offered both western (toast and hash browns) and eastern cuisine. Room service is good as well. The view of the lake was beautiful. I recommend a room facing it. However, be aware, this hotel is full of crooks. Do not stay here if you expect to get your deposit back. I checked in and paid the deposit on my international credit card. I was then called back to the front desk a few hours saying the payment did not go through, so I paid using my Chinese card. Upon checkout they said the deposit did not go through on either card but it was “fine,” so I just paid for the room service fees using my Chinese card and left. A week after checkout, I noticed the fee was still on my international CC, I called them asking to cancel it, they said they have, however it has not. This has been over 6 months of back and forth with the hotel and Hotels.com (who basically washed their hands of it and was of no help at all). I stayed in the hotel in July, it is now December and the deposit still has not been refunded. Just be mindful of how what you pay and keep an eye on your credit statements. Crowne Plaza is a western brand, if they claim to accept international cards then they should live up to their claim.

It was almost flawless. The setting, the rooms, the lobby...almost Ritz quality.

Very nice, clean property and friendly staff. Wish there was some additional dining/bar option and sauna on the property. Beautiful river/lake view room with a balcony.
