Rooms very spacious, great shower, large beds. Staff always very friendly and welcoming. Very handy for the motorway Kelpies within walking distance. Nice and quiet surroundings, always choose here when working in Edinburgh.

Clean and decent for a quick night stay

Premier Lodge is my regular first choice when I’m in the area, and the main reason for that is the staff. They are always welcoming, helpful and easy to deal with, which makes a real difference when you’re staying away from home. The rooms are clean, comfortable and provide everything needed for a good stay. Parking is straightforward, and the location works well for me when visiting the area. The only downside recently has been the ongoing roadworks nearby, which have caused some disruption, but these look to be coming to an end. Overall, this remains my preferred place to stay locally. The staff are what really make it stand out, and they are a credit to the hotel.

Hotel was very good only thing was the noise outside in the morning.

Amazed that Hotels.com are connected with this hotel. No problem with the staff but no sleep to be had here because of squawking and high pitched noise from nesting seagulls throughout the night.We had zero sleep and were informed at reception that the gulls are a protected species and nothing can be done about them. At least in another hotel you’d get your money back for not being able to sleep and we did request a quiet room.

Fantastic staff and very convenient for a gig at Helix park and the Kelpies

The staff at reception were very helpful and extremely welcoming. Room was clean, lovely and warm and had everything we needed. Onsite carpark was good and close proximity to The Helix was great. Downside was there was no breakfast included, however that definitely wouldn't put us off going back and recommending this hotel to others 😁

Great location for Helix Park. Clean, fresh hotel with good sized room and showroom. Only 1 strange feature….there was nowhere to plug in the kettle other than sitting it on the floor!

Clean spacious room and friendly staff

Premier Lodge is a perfect overnight hotel on the road to the Highlands, next to the eclectic Kelpies attraction on the nearby canal. Lovely walk from hotel. Good VFM.

Premier Lodge is a rather basic hotel but we knew that when we booked it. What sets this hotel apart is the service provided - a warm greeting whenever we passed through reception and the unexpected bonus of the use of the staff kitchen to heat up meals and store food in the refrigerator. As the weather wasn't great we nipped out to the nearby M&S Simply Food store at the petrol station and got some ready to heat meals which we then enjoyed at a table in the lobby area. The room was basic but clean and had tea, coffee, hot chocolate plus shampoo and body wash provided - all you need. The location was quiet and we had a good night's sleep. All in all, for the price paid, we recommend it.

Låg i ett industriområde men bra placering då vi var på genomresa. Det fanns restauranger i närheten men vi kom sent en söndagkväll. Dock fanns det en butik och MC Donald 509 meter bort.

Great staff and very clean hotel. Located in a industrial estate so need access to a car. Also there is no restaurant in the hotel, nearest McDonald's and M&S is around 3 mins drive or 10 min walk. Kelpies tourist attraction is 15mins walk which is very good.

Staff exceptionally helpful on the front desk. Free parking. Rooms were very clean and the hotel was quiet. Overall very pleasant

A little hard to get to with the road repairs going on but the staff and amenities were great!

Stayed here a number of times and it continues to be my first choice when working in the area. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and well maintained, with everything you need for a good night’s stay. What really makes this place stand out though is the staff. Every member of the team is friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful, and they consistently go out of their way to make guests feel valued. That personal touch is what makes this the perfect location for me and the reason I keep coming back. Good value, convenient location and excellent customer service throughout. Highly recommended.
