this hotel has very basic facility, bed room has no bed head and your head will touch the cold wall whe sleeping. no hot breakfast and very low quality, few variety of cold breakfast. When check-in, we are told breakfast time is from 7 to 10 am. so when we woke up early for breakfast of 7 am, we were told that breakfast started at 8am. one couple had to leave becasue 8am was late for them. we stayed for breakfast, the breakfast was the worst in Iceland I have. location is very remote and check-in ends at 8pm, etc. and relatively, price is too high based on its quality. Avoid it if possible

Older hotel with friendly staff in quiet area. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable.

Eric at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The jacuzzi and sauna are a good addition. It has a cost but worth it after long hours of driving. I would recommend the place. Basic room, no tea or coffee in the room which would have been nice. There is a kettle though. Just plan ahead. Overall a good experience.

The staff, especially the gentleman at the front desk worked very hard to make sure the guests had a good experience. The hot tub and sauna were great.

Hotel a few km from Breiðdalsvík, located in a quiet place, the structure is old but typical and well maintained. The room was clean and welcoming. As a place to pass through and to spend a night it is more than good

Vi havde bestilt overnatning i en alpehytte, som også var dejlig, selv om badeværelset var virkelig tiny. Hytten blev opvarmet med varmeveksler og det betød, at hele rystede når systemet skulle varme.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und die Dame, die es zubereitet hat, sehr sehr freundlich. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Badezimmer ist winzig und nicht schön. Whirlpool und Sauna kosten extra pro Person, was es dann im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften sehr teuer macht. War mit Nutzung des Whirlpools mit Abstand die teuerste Unterkunft in unseren 2 Wochen.

Bien situé, le personnel est accueillant et serviable. Le restaurant sur place est un plus et le petit déjeuner est très correct.

We stayed for one night in a cabin/chalet behind the hotel. The concierge was extremely helpful and polite, despite clearly being alone at work (it was a Sunday night). Check in from a reservation was smooth and convenient. There is not much to do in the area, so we had a couple of beers in the bar/restaurant area and went to bed. The chalet was clean and well-equipped for a longer stay, with appliances, tableware, towels, and a comfortable sleeping arrangement. I would highly recommend this option for singles or couples who want to explore the nearby area for a few days and have a cozy cabin to return to at night.

Room was small and shower did not have hot water

Small rooms, small beds, thin walls, no tv, no end table for laptop/tablet by bed. Noisy radiater. Its fine for just a place to sleep at night, but the price should have been lower and reflected that.

Saubere Zimmer, bequeme Betten, eine super Auswahl beim Frühstück.

Lovely little cabin, had a microwave and mini-fridge which seemed to be rare in hotels in Iceland (from our experience). We could see the northern lights right from our window.
