Great weekend getaway, Highly recommend, close to attractions that the area has to offer. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurants served great food.

Great never been and was a nice stay on drive from SA to NSW

My son and I enjoyed four nights here. Room was as expected. Sofa bed was lumpy and springy… definitely not ideal as the only option for our sleeping arrangements. The rooms have the joining door, which would be ok if we knew the people next door. But in our case the people next door stayed up the first two nights until 2am, with a toddler screaming… the adults could be heard laughing. Even with two ear plugs it was as though we were in the same room with how loud they were!! If there wasn’t the joining room door I do not believe it would have been as loud. The shower tiles were ‘squishy’ to step on… so I do not have confidence are water proof and mould isn’t growing under them. I requested the bed sheets to be changed on the first morning due to my son spilling some ice cream… this request was ignored (I spoke directly to the cleaning staff entering the room!) and subsequent requests via reception were also ignored… it was very obvious where the ice cream was dropped and made a mess! Would hope they would have changed the sheets even without the request. Food selection at the onsite restaurants leaves a lot to be desired! The buffet breakfast was ok, but not sure if worth the extra costs. The onsite EV chargers were handy but someone clearly doesn’t like EV’s as they stuffed the ends of the chargers with gravel… on the second night I forgot to check and made attempts to plug in only to realise the gravel then damaged one of my cars prongs for charging!

Always an amazing stay!! We’ve stayed many many times; this time we had spent the day in Ballarat at an event and decided a nice evening close by was needed; it was perfect

Upon arrival I was given a lecture from staff as to why I shouldn’t book through a third party website. The staff member told me I wouldn’t be able to check in and would have to call Expedia to check in, however she let me check in anyways. Only other thing there was no mini bar and everything closes by 9:50pm, plus room service wasn’t available at all during our stay which I found pretty poor for a resort. Overall I will be going elsewhere on our next stay.

I stayed at RACV Goldfields resort for 1 night as I was in Ballarat for the marathon. I couldnt believe the size of the room when I opened the door, it was huge, it even had a spa bath! I had to go back into my emails to check how much I paid for the night, as surely I paid much more than what I thought! But no, it was so reasonable priced for the room I was given. The beds were huge, it was all so clean. The beautiful pool was warmed just right, the under cover spa was amazing. All perfect for post run recovery. I really didnt want to leave! Next time I will bring the kids as they would have loved the resort too!! I really cant fault my stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Good clean rioms

The room was clean and comfortable. It was a bit noisy but it was during school holidays and kids need to be kids so I stopped being a pretentious old fart and got over it. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Family stayed for 3 nites, easily could been longer. Great activities for teenagers and parents. Great facilities. Great options at buffet bfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.
