Estava muito animada para essa hospedagem, tanto pelo local quanto pela estrutura do hotel, que é, de fato, linda. Fomos bem atendidos no check-in pela Valentina, que falou português conosco. Mas simplesmente não pudermos dormir porque a temperatura no quarto não baixava de 25°C. O termostato do ar condicionado não funcionava, tivemos que ligar 2x na madrugada para pedir para mexerem, mas só conseguimos melhorar a temperatura após as 5h da manhã. Passamos a noite em claro. Não haviam janelas (trata-se de uma caverna), e a única opção era deixar uma das portas do quarto (que dava pra rua) aberta… ou seja, não era uma opção viável. Foi bem difícil e não houve qualquer solução definitiva ou reparo por parte do hotel. Não ofertaram nos mudar de quarto - inclusive, disseram que nos deram um Upgrade e, no fim, passamos a noite sem dormir por nos sentirmos em um grande forno. Estamos acostumados com calor - somos brasileiros! - mas estava insalubre. Infelizmente, foi decepcionante.

Beautiful hotel

A unique hotel and well worth visiting. Being in our 80’s was difficult managing the 40 odd steps to our room. Service was excellent in the dining room. Cannot say the same for reception…not at all warm and welcoming. Two nights is plenty of time for a visit.

This hotel offers an outstanding experience, characterized by its prime location and exceptional customer service. The views from our balcony were breathtaking, and the wellness spa, featuring a Turkish bath and saunas, was remarkable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, great location right in the middle of everything. Walking is not easy but that’s the nature of Matera. Great sauna, pretty pool. Excellent breakfast! Highly recommend!

The hotel was breathtaking and the food staff was so kind and helpful.

Son propiedades únicas por estar localizadas en cuevas en Matera Italia. Muy bonitas instalaciones. El Front Desk no fue lo mejor. Solicité en varias ocasiones bajaran 2 grados la temperatura del cuarto y nunca lo hicieron .

Piacevole scoperta di questo Hotel, ci hanno riservato un upgrade inaspettato delle camere. Personale cordialissimo e gentile a iniziare dalla reception per proseguire con la sala colazione. Camere perfette come pulizia e arredi, e spazi comuni ottimi. Colazione a buffet ottima. Davvero un’ottima scelta come hotel.

Excellent Location and great experience being in the historic centre of Matera . Incredible view just outside the hotel room.its magical . Spa cave is magical and totally relaxing ,I will be back .Never felt lonely as a solo traveller .
