Charming hotel in a charming city. Hotel and room were lovely. Definitely would recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of spending two nights at Harbour House, and it was an exceptional experience that exceeded my expectations on every level. Nestled in a prime location with breathtaking views of the harbour, this hotel provided the perfect setting for both relaxation and productivity. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and were incredibly attentive throughout my stay, ensuring that I had everything I needed to feel comfortable and at home. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. The room itself was a highlight of my visit. It was incredibly spacious, offering more than enough room to spread out and relax. The decor was elegant, creating a serene atmosphere that was perfect. One of the standout features was the large desk, which provided the ideal workspace for finishing my script. The ample space, combined with a comfortable chair and excellent lighting, allowed me to work efficiently and creatively. The views from my room were nothing short of spectacular. Overlooking the harbour, I found myself constantly drawn to the windows. It was a true delight to start and end each day with such a stunning vista. In summary, my experience at Harbour House was outstanding. The combination of unparalleled service, spacious accommodations, and inspiring harbour views created the perfect environment for both work and relaxation. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is beautiful and quaint. It’s located by the hat and a nice walk into the village. The rooms are very large and well appointed. The bed had a firm mattress which we appreciated. The front desk people were all courteous and know about the area. Sadly they were bound by some hospitality related policies that precluded service-but they were lovely. The hotel could benefit by offering drinks to purchase for guests since there are no minibars and the idea of lugging beverages back to your hotel is inconvenient. They offer salty snacks though… Free secure parking is available on site and the breakfasts are SUPERB. Don’t miss breakfast.

Fourth time staying here. Room amazing. Ended up in a suite which I love. Bed amazing.

I choose this location based on the rave reviews, although I would say our stay did not meet my expectations.Room temperature was either too hot or too cold. Had issues with the TV, as the volume was set at one control and was very loud. Staff tried to fix it, but took time to try and get it fixed, and ended up not being able to adjust with the remote. I upgrade the room to a Superior room, but would say the layout was a bit awkward; TV was far from the bed and sitting area was not cozy, as it was 2 arm chairs - a love seat and ottoman may have been more comfortable. Bed was not very comfortable, and pillows were quite firm, a softer option would have been great. Washroom shower was very low pressure, and again, fan in washroom was super hot. In room coffee was a nespresso machine & capsules, however water bottles may have been a nice added touch. Parking was great and convenient. Breakfast was good, and over stay was good. Not sure the value was there for the price we paid, and would most likely try another hotel/inn, if we returned to NOTL.

I always love Harbour House since my first visit 20 years ago. The room has great layout, clean and spacious, environment is pleasant and quiet ambience, Nice to walk around the lake as well as convenient to go on the main street to shop and eat. Staff are all friendly and courteous. Their new virtual assistant tool is super helpful!

Overall had a pleasant experience. We stayed for one night in the premium king room. The fireplace was cozy as well as the bed. The bathroom was a bit run-down with outdated tiling, leaky faucet, and hissing toilet. One of the bathrobes had makeup residue and I’m not even sure if it was cleaned. The included breakfast was convenient, but a simple menu with croissants, bagels, pastries, blueberry bread pudding, overcooked egg casserole, deli meat, cheese, yogurt, and basic cut up fruit. Reception staff and breakfast server were all very friendly and courteous. It worked for the one night stay, but may choose a more modern hotel next time.

Absolutely loved the over-all feel of the property. Checkin and checkout was flawless. Staff were welcoming, room was quite comfortable, the fireplace was an excellent touch. Had trouble with the wifi (not likely the hotel’s fault, probably mine), the TV remote did not want to turn the volume down, and was unable to use the alarm clock to charge my devices by plug or USB cable. Easily able to overlook these things, however, as the whole room was incredibly comfortable. Continental breakfast was probably the nicest continental breakfast we have had in a long time.

Small size makes it feel cozy. Checkin cookie was a good surprise.

The staff were most welcoming and the location is perfect.

Communicated to the desk staff concerns with the functionality of items in the room. No ability to use the fireplace and an obvious issue with the shower unit (leaking badly and general disrepair of the control knobs). Unfortunately the fact that we had booked through a third party made for zero accommodation for our inconveniences. Very nice breakfast situation and polite, courteous staff. All things considered we will not be choosing to stay here in future.

Amazing stay!.. Celebrated my wife's birthday and we took our dog Marcel. Everyone loved it.
