very good stay - most staff friendly and courteous, especially the restaurant and bar personnel. Room was clean and comfortable and looked out onto the water hole - saw a lot of game - which was a great bonus. Nice bath tub. Restaurant food selection and preparation was of a good standard. I liked the museum and the spa treatment we had was excellent. Will most likely be back

Lovely venue with friendly staff and knowledge game rangers. The museum visit was a special experience, thanks to Rob’s passion and extensive knowledge about the history of the area.

Really recommend this hotel. Has everything you need and more. Great for couples as well as families. Professional staff who work hard to give you the best service possible.

One word “Amazing “ We will be back to this resort that pampered us all week, from the tours to the dining all top notch. The rangers that work with the animals and guides for the hikes are in love with their job and it shows. Can’t say enough about this place

Our stay at this lodge is always amazing. The stuff is extremely friendly and professional. The actual grounds are super pretty. It's a calming environment. Our baby also loved it. Thank you to the restaurant staff always go the extra mile to make our baby happy. Only issue is the wifi, but it wasn't the end of the world. We actually appreciate the downtime.

Property is exquisite. I just had a problem with pests on my roof. Room 34a has rats which kept scratching the ceiling in the early hours which woke me and my husband up.

Great place for a break away, great service and staff.

Had a wonderful stay here. Our room was directly overlooking a dam and there were lots of animals visiting in the late afternoon. The food was amazing and staff couldn't be friendlier. Would definately visit again

Everything was amazing

Our stay was incredible. The service is excellent at Askari! The rooms were really comfortable. The food was exceptional. It was such a treat to be so close to the animals.

Absolutely amazing short get-away to celebrate my husbands birthday! Askari went out of their way to make it spectacular. The highlight was the game drive and specifically Lovemore! Food is awesome too.

The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in. The food was excellent, it is not the usual buffet style you would expect from a half board offering, but instead it was plated with a good variety of menu options. The venue itself is nice, I did think I was going to see some elephants, but they are wild and roam as they please, that said we did see plenty game come past the watering hole on the property. My only 2 issues with the venue is that it is not child friendly, balconies and large drops do not have balustrades, you have to keep a constant eye on younger kids and there are not many kid activities available. My other issue is that the bathrooms are a bit dated and could do with a revamp.
