Shabby cold, miserable room out by pool

We got married in Jhb and stayed in this lovely hotel meets home for two nights. We were thoroughly spoilt, the rooms were spacious and luxurious. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much to everyone at Hoeveld House.

Staff were more interested in the function happening on the day than on getting our breakfast order right. There is no indication of where the reception is and not-one was too perturbed with meeting us on arrival. We informed the staff that my husband and i were attending a function that evening and would be returning late, we were assured that the front door would be left unlocked for us. we returned to a locked door. it was a fellow guest that heard us knocking that came to our rescue. Overall i was not impressed.

Excellent place for a night or two. Peaceful and luxurious

Lovely small hotel with garden. Breakfast was great! As it was raining a lot, we were offered a ride into town, which we really appreciated.
