Nous avons adoré notre séjour à l’hôtel La Romana. Le personnel était accueillant, la chambre propre et confortable. Un endroit parfait pour se reposer.

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, and the breakfast was perfect. It's close to several restaurants, bars, cafes, and a grocery store. The beach and the main strip in Tamarindo are about a 10-15 min walk but we liked this as it kept it very quiet in the room. We stayed for 5 days without a car and did not feel we needed one. Felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, which was a nice surprise. Definitely recommend

Our room was infested with black ants that were coming thru the space between the glass and wall. Tried to get another hotel that night but all was booked elsewhere. The room was dated. Best part of the stay was the breakfast. Sorry, we won’t be back.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Couldn’t have picked a better spot literally five minute walk away from the main downtown area, yet so relaxing and quiet. We’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

The name is fitting...charming! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Ramona. The hotel is tucked away in a neighborhood away from the main strip, which is what we wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful. The communal kitchen had everything we needed, including a made-to-order breakfast every morning. Our room had an outside bathtub and shower on a private patio. It was very quaint and romantic. We enjoyed our stay and would go back. Thank you!

We had a great stay at La Ramona. It’s was as described in the property description. The owners and staff were all very kind and the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately they had construction going on while we were there in November which lead to early morning wake ups due to the noise.

We liked the room and property. Generous portions for breakfast. Friendly staff and manager. Nice size room, 2 showers in room…one special as outdoor shower.

Staying at la Romana Charming was an excellent choice, great location, the staffs were great,the service was excellent ( it was my sister’s bday they left a cake with candle for her) I had a very good breakfast , very personalized to your taste The room was nice. The pool was a treat ,warm and clean.I will definitely highly recommend this hotel .

La ubicación del hotel permite llegar a la playa sin tener que pasar por la calle principal lo que te ahorra mucho tiempo. Es bastante cómodo y limpio realmente tienes todo lo que necesitas. El desayuno súper completo

Bel établissement, mais le jour où nous sommes arrivé, il n’y avait pas d’eau, il faut s’attendre à ça a Tamarindo , de plus l’établissement est un peu loin du centre , c’est plus calme mais, les journées chaudes sont difficiles pour aller se promener surtout que la rue n’est pas asphalté et donc très poussiéreuse

Cool place, simple and comfortable

Small charming hotel, as the name suggests. Rooms are spacious and hotel has a swimming pool centrally located in the centre. The best part of the rooms was the bed, which was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on. Daily housekeeping. Hotel is in a quiet area, which we appreciated, especially when the bars were rocking, but still walkable to the centre of town and the beach. The only meal option is breakfast, served between 08:00 and 10:00, and made to order.

I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel! Talk about charming. It is so quaint and warm, very comfortable beds and we loved our outdoor shower and tub. The breakfast included was some of the best we had in Costa Rica and you feel very much taken care of here. The owner and his family were so kind and helpful, we will most certainly be back. Highly recommend!
