Rooms are old and have been lived. A lot of rust, broken furniture, bathrooms need a remodel. Hot water yes, very hot, cold water was hard to get as the shower was stuck on hot, almost burned myself. All in all heavily lived. Shops are close, free parking for up to 3 cars. Full kitchen with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer. But again heavily lived. Free WiFi. Beds are not that great. Good for a night or two maximum.

Room was smelly, and mattress at one side was damaged….had room nr 5 Didn’t use any of the shared facilities, so cannot comment on that. Will not recommend it to anyone, unless the clean the room and make it smell and look better…

BEWARE, this property greatly lacks security! The listing does (minimally) state that there is no staff on site. Yet, My wife & I were given entry into the building without having completed the supposed mandatory online check-in, having only spoken to someone through the Ring doorbell camera. We found that the key lock box for our room has been improperly closed by the previous guest, with our room key literally falling out of the lock box when we entered the house. The room key was for nothing more than bit key, which I would expect to find in an aunt's house for giving you privacy, not physical security at a travel guest house that is unstaffed. As well, other guests had been clearly using the (potentially only) fire extinguisher as a door stop in the main entrance. In addition, we found the back sliding glass door had been left completely wide open by non-present guests, leaving the property completely unguarded. The lack of oversight from top to bottom made my wife & I weary enough that we immediately booked other accommodations right after arriving. I wouldn't trust the physical safety of myself and my belongings here.

Had a change of accommodation due to a problem at the booked location but was given another great room in a hotel which was great and had good facilities with a large shared living room and kitchen
