Gorgeous renovated old home on a quiet street just a few steps away from the main area. Caution tho - check in is between 2-6 pm ONLY - so you can’t be late.

It was a very quiet neighborhood. From the train station, the guest house was close but the multiple sets of stairs to connect up to the street the house is on were daunting. The proprietor meet us for check-in, have a customer of recommendations for dinner when we asked. E never see another person or heard anyone for the one night we were there.

Made a silly mistake with the timing of my booking and they sorted me out no problem. Room was very clean and comfortable, great value for the price highly recommend!!

The shower needs instructions as it was cold or scalding and unusable.

This property, although close to shopping, bus and rail, requires teavelers to traverse a number of stairs from the plaza, that might be difficult for elderly, poor health or those with large luggage. In these cases, I would recommend taking a taxi. Also, only one room is on the ground floor. The others are on 2 upper levels. The room was lovely, but we were never able to make the shower come out in anything other than a weak stream a few spurts at a time. Unsure about the other rooms, but if you'd like a hot shower, room #7 might not be for you.

the person who received it is really good and helpful. However, due to the price paid, I believe that the room is microscopic and the bed is not comfortable.

We had originally booked the guest house as it was close to the train station and were planning to get the train. We ended up driving instead which was a big mistake as it was so difficult to get a parking space. The lady that checked us in to the guest house made it clear that she wasn't going to be around after 6 and told us just to park across the road. When we came back after 7pm the car park was full and it was permit parking all along the street and we didn't know what to do. We ended up asking advice at another hotel down the street about where to park and the lady was very helpful. The whole situation completely stressed me out along with the guesthouse being quite noisy as you could hear people talking in other rooms and the water every time they turn the tap on, so not a great sleep either.

Located in a great area, close to town. Unfortunately I was up 3 flights of stairs off you have mobility struggles please check. Not all rooms are ensuite. My room was and that was a big bonus. Bed was maybe too soft. Lovely large opening window as the weather was hot. Shampoo and showergel too.

I was in Inverness for a quick one night stay and booked Park Hill as it’s very central to the bus station and the city centre in general. Upon arrival, I was given a great welcome by Cherry, who is absolutely brilliant. My room was a twin which was a good size with an en-suite shower room. Everything was spotless and I thought the room was nicely furnished. Would definitely recommend staying here, and I look forward to booking again.

It’s a lovely smart yet homely guest house in a lovely stone built character property on a nice street just at the top of Market Brae steps so ultra convenient for the city and all its attractions and railway station, it took just 4 mins to get to the station. Lovely friendly owner and good price too, would definitely stay again

The property was very nice, clean and comfortable. I checked in late so the keys were left for me which suited me. I did get an email to ensure everything was fine which is appreciated. The property is within walking distance of everything that you need. I would stay here again.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la Park Hill Guest House. La chambre était confortable, propre et très calme, ce qui est appréciable étant donné la proximité du centre-ville d’Inverness — idéal pour tout faire à pied. Un point à noter toutefois : l’arrivée est prévue entre 14h et 18h, avec la possibilité d’arriver plus tard à condition de prévenir suffisamment en avance. Ce n’est pas toujours évident à gérer dans le cadre d’un road trip, où l’on dépend des aléas de la route, des visites ou encore de la météo. Un peu plus de flexibilité à ce niveau serait un vrai plus. Dans l’ensemble, une très bonne adresse que nous recommandons volontiers !

Perfect overnight stay in central Inverness

Very nice stay at the Park Hill Guest House. The room was small, as was the bathroom but fine for 1 person especially for a short stay. Very well located and cosy decor.

The guest house is well located, clean and spacious. We never met anyone involved in running the place, and were surprised when no one answered the door bell when we arrived. In time we discovered an envelope containing our room key, peeking out from under and behind the outside door.
