The room was great, the bathroom spotless. We had two breakfasts and one evening meal - all very good. All the staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful.

Very nice room, bed and pillows not great, but comfortable. We had one of the loft rooms - Swallows, watch out for the sloping ceilings! Also the regular metallic banging of the heating throughout the night was not the best for a restful night. Extremely limited parking options, litreally only 3 / 4 spaces available otherwise it's on a dark side street. Really nice restaurant, food delicious and staff were extremely nice and friendly. Special mention to Tegan who was very helpful and seemed to do everything! Good position about 10mins drive from centre of Sheffield and excellent for walking through the park to Peak district or for something to eat or drink on Eccleshall road.

We checked in and met by Harry. He is a real asset to the hotel. He was extremely helpful & professional. Went above & beyond, booked a taxi for us that night & even found the time to locate a phone charger (we had forgotten ours).

The room was wonderful & had some welcome brownies, bathrobes, tea & coffee. The bathroom was stunning.

Superb boutique hotel. Lots of little luxuries such as fresh milk in the rooms along with hand creams, automatic bathroom lighting, complimentary glass of bubbles, in a environment that is an oasis of calm. The staff were very hospitable and warm and the restaurant food was great. A really fabulous stay.

Lovely small quiet hotel in a great area of Sheffield right next to Encliffe Park & walks into the Peak District. Friendly staff & lovely editions to the room, lovely toiletries, water & milk in the fridge & delicious homemade brownies. We got upgraded to a lovely room with a roll top bath.

Lovely boutique hotel with caring and dedicated staff!

Everything about this hotel/restaurant was excellent. All the staff were polite and welcoming. We had lunch upon arrival and breakfast the following morning. There was a varied menu and the quality of the food was superb. The hotel was very clean and the decor very relaxing. Our bedroom was very clean and well decorated and well maintained. The first floor room was particularly quiet.

Room excellent. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would not hesitate to use again.

Great service

A very nice stay with friendly , welcoming and efficient staff, great evening meal. Pleased with the room, and a 7 minute walk to the botanical gardens and other park. Nice residential area, but plenty of amenities and restaurants nearby. Would like to go back sometime

Great place to stay for an over night business trip. Breakfast not included and is charged extra. Wasn’t the best experience, full English was disappointing. Hard streaky bacon, a lump of hard toast with everything piled on top. Sausage dry and tasteless and a hard poached egg. Teapot was one that should have had loose tea not a teabag so it struggled to get any strength so had to remove and add to cup
