Lovely property and lovely staff

Lovely property. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The staff in the associated Little Bastion restaurant were particularly friendly and helpful. All in all a good hotel with easy access to the 3 cities, the ferry to Valletta and the city itself

Nice property and room, helpful staff although check in processes could be streamlined and work needed on customer data security. Enjoyed the room. In room dining unavailable which was disappointing and wine list quite low standard

The Cugo Gran Macina Malta hotel far exceeded our expectations. The hotel perfectly combines old, classic style with modern solutions and comfort. The location of the hotel is excellent. Valletta can be reached in 10 minutes by boat, and the area is full of excellent restaurants. And the staff must also be highlighted. They are very helpful and kind without exception. We could never leave the reception without being asked if we needed anything or if they could help us with something. Overall, we had a very good time and I can only recommend the hotel.

Absolutely fantastic location!! We also stayed at The Phoenician for 3 nights (after staying at this hotel) and we wished we hadn’t left the Cugo Gran. This hotel is just perfect and boutique with incredible staff. I loved the area and felt like we could explore Malta and still come back to a beautiful and peaceful home base. We had our 6 month old baby with us and put our in-laws / grandparents in a separate room for the family vacation and eveybody LOVED it!

location was fantastic, 15 mi from Valletta by water ferry, and none of the cruise mobs. Room was huge and gorgeous, with every amenity, staff in hotel and restaurant were gracious and welcoming. we travel frequently, and stayed in beautiful places, but this is the first time I felt compelled to write a review

The space and view from our harbour corner suite was fantastic we had an outlook over the harbour to Birku. All the staff were friendly and couldnt do enough for you. The restaurant and pool were excellent. We have had three holidays here and will be back again.

静かなハーバーの真ん前に位置するとても良いロケーション。遠くの教会の鐘の音が聞こえ非常に落ち着いた雰囲気を味わえます。 かつての要塞を改装したホテルは最新の内装・設備を備え、とても快適に過ごせます。宿泊した部屋はメゾネットタイプでリビングが吹き抜けになっており、とてもゆったりした空間で居心地良く過ごすことができました。 レストランでは毎日朝食をいただきましたが、アラカルトで好きなだけ注文するシステムで、非常にクオリティが高いと思いました。 屋上のプールからはハーバーを見渡す素晴らしい景色が望め、とてもリラックスできました。 アクセスについても中心部のヴァレッタへはホテルから歩いて５分ほどの乗り場からフェリーが３０分毎に発着しており、１０分ほどで着くので移動も便利でした。 次回マルタ訪問時も是非こちらを利用したいと思います。

No VIP attention. They made us leave before checkout so they could accommodate the next guests arriving 2.5 hours before checkin.

The staff are genuinely amazing and friendly. Took good care of us for our week stay. The rooms are spacious and well taken care of. When we had an issue the staff took care of it right away. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and top notch!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I walked passed it on my last visit to Malta and was determined to stay there on my next visit. The room, food, cocktails, pool, service etc. were all top notch! I won't consider staying anywhere else on my next visit to Malta. We had to move rooms but the staff contacted us and made the process incredibly simple, with the room upgrade very much appreciated. Special shout outs to Valentina, Martha and Qwin but all the staff were brilliant. Get a daquiri in the happy hour, you won't regret it!

Amazing spot!!

Big rooms with a comfortable bed, shower room was nicely finished. The hotel had a pool on the roof terrace with great views overlooking the harbour. Restaurant food was very good. Things to improve - the suite we stayed in was damp, it had a dehumidifier in it which needed emptying regulary. The pool was dirty with debris at the bottom and floating.
